  1. Love the 'I took the kids on a school trip" comment presumably from Jamal... he's been great today both on and off the field
  2. I'll rephrase: pretty poor on quality. Sure they will be disappointed and it's a good sign of how far we've come overall under Röhl tbh... just gutted we didn't play as we can against that lot
  3. Pretty poor performance especially from our key players: bannan, windass, gassama, charles. Having said that I'm not sure this Untied team is good enough for the automatics. And they are definitely not miles ahead on the pitch!
  4. Played very well tonight and a big factor in us winning for sure. If I'm being hyper critical I still think he's a touch too slow in his passing. But great performance in that second half nonetheless
  5. Brilliant second half. Love the huddle!
  6. Beadle really needs to claim crosses when they're 3 yards from his line! Generally his shot stopping is excellent but he has to learn to dominate that 6 yard box
  7. Windass has been absolute quality this second half. Running the show atm!
  8. We've scored... from a corner... in super slo-mo too!
  9. Good to know it's not just our defence that loses the plot...
  10. Also think it is more likely he will not be here than here. But... I still don't really understand the compensation issue with Röhl. If he leaves in the summer for another team - let's say Southampton - is the assumption that he can with no or reduced compensation? If Southampton weren't prepared to pay ~£10m for Röhl in December why would they in the summer? Genuine question by the way and realise that we don't 100% know Röhl was definitely offered the job (unless I've missed something!)
  11. Nothing's going to stop me now from praising another great post there Holmowl. Coat on the peg is it?....
  12. Happy to accept play offs is highly unlikely now. We just don't have enough depth in key forward and defensive areas (and arguably central too with BBs injury). Having said that looking forward to the Japanese lad and Cissoko. Think it'll be good to give Ryo a go ahead of MJ who seems to have really dropped off the last few months.
  13. West Brom better team but defo thought we did enough for the point. There really is no excuse for that goal at the end. Really really poor from about 5 or 5 of them! Real shame. Oh well...
  14. Awful. Johnson just let him walk across the penalty area!!!
  15. This. Exactly the point I wanted to make. The elephant in the room with the approach reasonably set out is it is very unlikely to include DR. And that's the big problem (or will be come the summer)
  16. Stop it! Yes he should have got out a bit quicker from the corner but there were loads of little things players should have done! And don't even think he could have reached to Valery flick...
  17. Being able to bring on gnonto and ramazini tells you all you need to know about the two squads. Boys have played well today in general. Leeds are best team in the division imo
  18. Thank you for sharing. When I read it I was reminded of a boss I used to work with (although not as extreme as your experience). Everything you have written tallies up with my experience and what we have all feared from Chansiri. He's not a nasty man and I'm sure in certain situations he is quite charming, but there is a controlling, narcissistic and downright childish nature that means he is the least suitable chairman we could have ever wished for. The fear I have is that - just like my own work experience - he is also incredibly stubborn. And that is the killer here as I suspect only when the club are in administration will we finally be rid of the buffoon. I sincerely hope I'm wrong. And, unlikely Chansiri, I will happily admit it if I am!
  19. Multiplied after last 2 mins!!!!
  20. Well done musaba. That's what happens when you get your head up lad!!!
  21. It's a fair question from the OP, and certainly not a ridiculous question. Personally, I would keep them both although I definitely think Musaba could do with a loan in January if he's still struggling. I'd keep Gasman in the first team squad: starting or as impact sub
  22. I take it back. Pato you are a GOD
