End of thread. The team picks itself, just as always, I worry about their subs to our subs but that's 100% our strongest 11 that's fit. I hope Chalaboh is fit enough for the bench.

I remember Jewell saying once that after we lose 0-5 at home to Wimbledon in the Champ, Jewell was raging in the dressing room as you'd expect. And De Bilde asked Jewell to do his tie up for him as he was going straight out somewhere The difference between the club this season and back then, at least the players do care and have been a credit to themselves. Back then we were run better but the players just downed tools and completely disrespected themselves and the fans.

I agree. Unless we're keeping both players close and trying to negotiate with the EFL to allow us to sign more players But if we can only sign 2, a centre back and central midfielder is key

the EFL really haven't done us much favours, the 2 signings we make will cover Valery and Fusire's absence in January

I've said this many times in here before Different times now and for the better, but when I was involved in the late 80's early 90's I loved it, but it's not a thing anymore. Not saying stuff doesn't kick off, it does but it's not planned like it used to, just lads that have supped too much will get in scraps in heat of the moment. With the amount of old bill around for a game like this, no way they would come down looking for it. It would be so stupid as not only would OB stop them, they'd be massively outnumbered. Won't happen.

I remember hearing all this in the early 90's when they actually had a firm and used to constantly tell us how much better their firm was than ours then They probably had a point, but we'd always turn up for the derby games, I can't remember them ever coming down in numbers to Hillsborough Corner and doing anything, we were all there too in numbers, they knew where we were. Apart from a few isolated incidents from small numbers, normally picking on your shirty fan or smaller numbers, (typical BBC Bully Boys) they never actually delivered in what they said. So I guarantee nothing will happen on Sunday, especially when it didn't in 92 or 94 when the off-field stuff was a lot more common.

As it stands we can only sign 1 more player as to cover Valery and Fusire who will be away in January with AFCON I knew Watmore was training and think he's more likely to sign, Redmond has been training at a few clubs so we may be doing him a favour
