Not everybody that works at the club are a Wednesday fan or even a football fan, and maybe, just maybe some need that job at any cost, possibly even to themselves long term.
Interesting idea, what actually classes as "entering the field of play"?
As something different and a step forward I think this has legs (pardon the puns) problem is once it is out there as a threat then it becomes less of a threat.
What would be the safety concerns if everybody stood towards the perimeter/wall would it be enough to get the game stopped? Or the ground closed down?
Just the ramblings of a disgruntled old man..............
I'd rest all those that played last night apart from Horvath, Fusire, Brown Otegbayo (Maybe Amass)
and play the kids if i wouldn't be worried about them getting battered and ruining their careers.
Also Kobacki and Ugbo can F.... go for a coffee............
You could hear the boot beats pound as they raced across the ground
And the clatter of the studs as they spun 'round and 'round
And he galloped into Hillsborough his badge upon his chest
His name was Ernie, and he dove and made a block into the west
Think a good idea is the SWFC players delay the game by 5mins, kick off at 12.35pm and not 12.30pm as a protest.
Still would get publicity and people talking but not upset people too much who have arranged to travel to the game.
Also wont get an EXTRA points deduction or a fine.
I told the wife that the window cleaner was saying that he had sex with all the women on our street but one.
She said I bet it's that miserable cow at number 34!
From Birdwell/Holland Common around 8 miles each way to watch a night game Wednesday reserves with my old mate Brian Pell. It was during the miners strike.
Nowt better to do.
