This idea that players should avoid protest because there is a chance we could stay up is as damaging as fans stopping protests based on the rumours that a takeover was imminent. We are down, without a shadow of a doubt. We aren’t getting taken over next week. Even if we get the January window, we’re down. The players protesting won’t change that.
