    Not blaming EFL for Chansiri’s mess but their inability to do anything to get him leave the club after 5 out of 6 missed payments to players and staff is embarrassing on their part. Said it before but imagine someone doing what he’s doing to a Thai club , they’d be lucky to get out of the country let alone refuse to sell

    Plenty of examples of players going awol, normally in pre season to force a move, see Isak. Normally results in 2 weeks fine, which plays into Chansiris hands. 16 “injuries” has my full support , as would a strike.

    I’m guessing that refusing to play could result in players getting fined by the club, yes I see the irony in that. Would have a massive impact but not sure the PFA would advise that , refusing to train completely different I reckon. 16 tight hamstrings tight Friday night ????

    True but people were speculating without any knowledge what it would be. In the grand scheme of things any punishment will be just added to the long list we already have.

    If the players wish to strike I wouldn’t blame. Think the PFA would advise against it. As for any punishment it would bring no one knows what that would be but it couldn’t make the situation worse.

    What a joke of a man and what a farce of a situation. Sorry if this is a bit political but can you imagine an Englishman buying a club in Thailand and doing to players and staff what Chansiri is doing here. I can imagine the authorities over there would handle it a bit different to ours.

    Well done Barry , legend as a player and really stepping up as captain now. Two interviews in a week now , maybe the rumours of him re-signing cos he believed a takeover was close were true and he feels badly let down.

    Would’ve loved pato up top for us this season. An absolute pest for centre halves, would’ve worked his balls off and nicked a few goals and a leader for the young uns. Shame on you Chansiri.

    From what I’ve seen this season I think Weaver and Brown have earnt the right to play in front of Otegbayo and Ugbo. Glad Henrik went with them, we’ve got nothing to lose.

    Had a manager that got results , disagreed on transfer policy so got rid . Signed all the players that they wanted based on AI. Then got the manager back. Not sure who’s lost more face on this deal.

    Think McNeil cost us all 3 goals , poor clearance for the first , slightly better clearance for the second but stayed in and played their man onside , got done back post for the third.

    Points deduction will mean nothing this season and the EFL will know this. If Chansiri hangs on, I suspect a points deduction may come next season.

    What a state modern football is , one club has spent over £400 million, another is spending £14 mill for a loan. Yet here we are being destroyed by a madman seemingly on purpose with the authorities having no power to stop it. Whilst the fans suffer. Fully expect the points deduction to be issued for next season.
