  1. Speaking for myself, and honestly not having a pop, but who cares? Of the myriad of problems we have right now, this barely registers for me.
  2. I am not wanting to be controversial for the sake of it, but I genuinely do not care about the officiating, and the decision to not rule their 3rd goal offside. It feels like we need to be on the receiving end of a proper pasting for some of our supporters to wake up to the reality of the situation. The earlier pitch invasion and the reaction of some of the crowd - booing them - is a perfect example. Let us be right here - we are going down this season, so if a proper thrashing shakes even a handful of extra attendees into action, then bring it on. If that means I'm not a "proper fan" then so be it.
  3. Coincidentally, we named our dog Beni, too.
  4. If opponents are expected to stop every time a player pulls up in a foot race, then there'll be no end of defenders pulling up with "strains" when chasing a dangerous 50/50 vs a forward to avoid risking losing out and them being clear through.
  5. That is brilliant. Downloaded just now. Growing up in the 90s, my one abiding memory of teletext scores was the headline "Owls Hammer Hammers" after a 4-0 at Upton Park/Boleyn Ground. Wanna say 98 or 99?
  6. Always been a FM man myself. Who doesn't love a good spreadsheet simulator
  7. You're right, anyone walking up won't turn around and head home, for sure. But there is a good chance a proportion - even if only a small one, say, <5% - of those who filed past it after being beaten 0-1 by League Two Grimsby won't be falling over themselves to continue funding the decline. It sent a clear and unequivocal message to those who saw it. That is what is needed. Clear, punchy messages. We see it in politics, and rightly or wrongly, it works.
  8. Honestly, I think part of the promble is the vocal minority on social media who reply to posts made by the Trust et. al., with rapid nonsense about not telling me what to do etc. As we know, it is those who shout loudest who are often heard, and when such comments are deployed on any post that is a call to action, then it is going to influence a portion of the fans into thinking, yeah, ok, they have a point. Even when faced with facts, those who shout loudest just double-down and become more entrenched. The banner that was on the fence of the park was perfect. That may seem contradictory to the above, but it was blunt, clear, and designed to shame. It didn't get the vocal ones a platform to reply and have their spiel seen be a wider audience - aside from anyone passing in ear shot, of course, which is a temporary and fleeting audience. It was a closed book. That's what we need, I think. It won't be 100% effective, but nothing ever will.
  9. My favourite was "sourse". Had two widely used phoentic variants available and missed them both.
  10. As someone who very recently (this year) studied constitutional law, I'm a little upset I missed the chapter relating to SWFC. No wonder I only got 76%, missed entire segments.
  11. Legend, cheers for this mate. #NotAllHeroesWearCapes
  12. The man has the intelligence and business acumen of a fûcking pube. Just go, you twåt
