  1. Then the Leeds fans wonder why people think they're pondscum. I could be on a date with a 10/10 (like that would ever happen) and she asks about football and says she's a Leeds fan. Immediate 5/10. Got lifelong friends who are Leeds fans who i wouldn't trust with my kid. Everyone is being magnanimous saying they wouldn't wish our current plight on any other club. There is one exception.
  2. 1994 was Nilsson and Sheridan, Harkes had left Wednesday by then. These were the last World Cup finals Owls players I think. Carson was with us prior to the 2006 WC, but owned by Liverpool.
  3. Winds me right up that people need to hold him up as a saint or snake. "He approved hotel bookings, what a guy, Chansiri is a ********" "He went back to Germany to see his kids, snake!" He is a person, flawed like the rest of us, who made some mistakes in a job. The standard that some on here hold him to is insane, like he should be conducting himself like the second coming of Jesus. Im fairly sympathetic, because it's a bit weird that my recent career uncannily follows Danny's. Headhunted in October 2023, sold a vision of what the company will look like in a couple of years time, and how i could develop. Immediately ran into problems (manager didn't like me, consistently undermined me) but won an industry award while I was in the post, clearly doing decent work. Stress of the job made me a bit irritable which didn't help things, but i decide to leave and I applied for a few jobs. Somehow this got back to the managers, they recently fired me for this and other BS reasons but paid me off. What I'm saying his, he doesn't have to have been perfect for this to have been yet another DC fk-up. If you work for a knobhead of a manager, youre not going to have done your best work and you'll probably want to leave. And those in the fanbase calling him a snake need to give their bonces a wobble.
  4. Hard agree. Ugbo converts 5 of his spurned chances into goals and the story is quite different.
  5. Defo AI, just honed it a bit beyond the usual slop.
  6. Bought one after Rob Mc's pledge to donate to the ST, and it came today. Just makes me realise how much of a joke of a club we have become. It's slick, thoughtfully designed, has amazing sponsors of course, and I don't know if I'm imagining it, but feels like it is more premium material than ours. Ours feels thicker and maybe doesn't have the same sweat wicking properties etc. Probably overthinking this, but the same kit manufacturer as us is excelling with theirs, and with teams like Palace, and we get the second class service for top drawer prices. There is no question here, just my observations.
  7. Never loved Hillsborough enough to be sad when new stadia are mentioned. Although I do love being behind the Kop pillars, feels like I imagine it to have been when there were 80000 watching stood up and youre craning your neck for a view
  8. Can't put my finger on exactly why, but Windass in civvys just looks like a crackhead to me
  9. You'll never turn 100%. But think where we were 50 days ago. The boycott/starve him/not a penny approach was just bouncing around the OT and Trust's echo chamber. It's spread, it's getting coverage. Rome wasn't built in a day.
  10. Hate the view at Kickoff. CHANSIRI fully visible
  11. Non violent direct action, en masse.
  12. Sheffield 3 is the owner absolute. Companies operate under property law as "legal persons", separate to the owners and directors, can enter into contacts, sue and be sued, etc. The sole director is Chansiri but it could very well be you or I, the owner is still Sheff 3. Now companies can get struck off. One way in which they can be stricken off is if there is no director or person with significant control. Currently Sheff 3 has a sole director - DC. Now I don't reckon it's beyond the realms of possibility here that if DC has committed some dodgy dealings or financial crime, he could be struck off as a director, leaving Sheff 3 without an active director, making Sheff 3 in breach of the Companies Act, which could lead to the company being shut down. Someone help if you know, RE what happens with directors in that case, as I might be wrong. But if what i think happens, happens, then if the legal person (Sheffield 3) ceases to exist, the land passes to the Crown Estate/Duchy of Lancaster as bona vacantia, or Vacant Goods, i.e ownerless property. TL:DR Chansiri dies or gets struck off as director, possible that ground ownership passes to the Crown estate.
  13. The Telegraph used to be a reputable newspaper, despite being rightwing and a bit scared of social change Nowadays they employ such child minded journos that a) they think that £1m+ is an accurate way to report and b) think it's funny or edgy to show how brassic we are with the sock tape thing instead of backing up his rumour. I'm sure the NI international keeper and nailed on starter for Sheffield Wednesday wants to go sit on a bench away at Inverness as opposed to having a complete free hit of a season in a top league. poo journalism, absolute toiletrag of a newspaper, fizz off and stop selling our players.
