  1. Would be a better player if he was still on the pitch
  2. Chris Woods lived in Hathersage and Trevor Francis lived in Grindleford in the 90s, Micheal Vaughan lived in Baslow, his brother played for the Saturday side there, not a bad player. I used to do the grass at Abbeydale Hall, Paul Sturrock and Graham Hills rented apartments there
  3. Chansiri was very likeable for 6 months, possibly my best 6 months as a Wednesday fan
  4. I have mentioned it before and got shouted at the word Hillsborough is one of the worst words in football just for what it stands for
  5. That i agree with when he was young but we all know we had a chance to resign him in his prime
  6. Don’t think I need to say much more, football legend, should be ours, wants to be ours, wasn’t his own doing, isn’t our own doing just sums up the SWFC mess
  7. Davor Suker for Croatia in Euro 96, what a goal. Saw Klinsmann make is debut for Tottenham great player. Cantona in the Boxing Day game was awesome. But the best in a one off game for me was Jordan Rhodes in the match he scored 4
  8. I honestly think we as a club will never shake off the horror of what happened in the cup semi final, it’s a ball and chain that will never leave this club, you think Sheffield Wednesday then you think Hillsborough, and Hillsborough, Hysel, the Valley and Bradford will always be things that are remembered as the darkest days of the game alongside others. I love my club but that will always hold us back
  9. I live round the corner, it’s actually called the wanted inn, not the unwanted and well it’s now called the Olive Tree farm shop
  10. We had two fellas called Hirst......
  11. Right then going for 18th striker
  12. Correct me if I am wrong but isn’t it true that the Scottish lads were here for 5 years and never started a game together
  13. I know, surely everyone knows it’s salad cream not Mayo on a fish finger sandwich
  14. Not changed much at all in 30 years
  15. His pub management skills were better made a decent job of running the Cheshire Cheese in Hope
  16. He looks up for the challenge this season, got a bit of a come on let’s have it swagger about him
  17. Isaiah the Messiah?
  18. James Quinn in 2005, came from somewhere in Holland, just remember the rest of the team not being clever enough to get on to anything he did, I think we were in Div 3 at the time. He didn’t come to much after leaving Hillsborough though
  19. Nail, hit, head, on
