  1. Where’s all this negativity coming from ?
  2. It was suggested people are arguing against ‘a ban’ . . . Don’t misquote.
  3. That’s not an argument against a ban is it ?. I’m saying, yet again, lifetime bans aren’t in my opinion the answer.
  4. Think the biggest issue is it looks like all we have to chase is Hudds. In all the other leagues you’ve got 3-4-5 targets. Rovrum probably ain’t getting out of it and I reckon it’s between us, QPR and the aforementioned HTFC to fill the remaining two slots. I’m not resigned to relegation but this will be some achievement.
  5. It does speak volumes. For the **th time, I’m not defending it. My initial post was in response to the immediate request for a life ban. If there’s a chance that this idiot is not the career racist he was so quickly branded then what good does a life ban do ?. I’m not touchy, I’m open to things. Balanced, that’s me.
  6. Rant ?. You are touchy aren’t you.
  7. So let’s for instance say, and I’m no way comparing these offences before the mob pick out their pitchforks. Let’s say you’re pulled over for speeding. The authorities decide you’ve more than likely done it before so you probably would’ve, if caught in the past, accumulated 12+ points. You’re a grown up, you know it’s wrong, you know it endangers yourself and others. The only appropriate action is to immediately take your license.
  8. You know that writing ‘I’ve disproven you at every stage’ doesn’t mean you have. One last time, In my opinion, a lifetime ban isn’t the way forward. My opinion mind, my opinion. Are you getting that ? My opinion.
  9. I’ve obviously not read the thread thoroughly enough. Where does anyone say they don’t condone the lads actions ?.
  10. Those quips are aimed at those of you calling for the lifetime ban and maybe even the possibility of those in his vicinity receiving some form of punishment too. The fact I’ve stuck with all along is he needs dealing with but I don’t agree with a lifetime ban. You were the first to make your comments more personal towards my opinions. I’ll say it again, different opinions.
  11. And when is saying I don’t think a lifetime ban does any good a call for ‘minimal’ action ?.
  12. Lighthearted quips ?. Stop with the lies.
  13. You’re in a position to ask . . . So ask.
  14. You really need to stop writing things that I haven’t and claiming I have. It’s a terrible trait.
  15. Read my posts. I know what the meaning of inclusivity is. Hillsborough and SWFC are inclusive. You’ll find nothing connected to the club promoting anything otherwise. You will find reminders to patrons of what isn’t acceptable and the fact that every local village loses an idiot for a few hours on a weekend isn’t the fault of our club. It’s the individual’s choice and they will be dealt with but I’ll stand by my original post. You won’t convince me that a lifetime ban is the way forward. Now if we’ve a repeat offender then yes at some stage it comes into play. 28,000+ there yesterday. I’ll bet my house more than one or two have committed something very serious in their past and turned themselves round. This lad will be identified and he’ll be taught more than a valuable lesson. But if our club can make a point of letting the world know that in 3-4-5 year’s time he’s learnt from it and become more rounded for it don’t yer think that’s a better conclusion than ostracising ?.
