Looks like a few have been taken off sale from WL1

I know quite a few Wednesday fans that aren’t attending games any more, regardless of opponents. A good few people who have lost the love of it and wont be at this game, most of who went to Wembley. As I’ve previously stated, when you lose match attending fans, it’s very hard to get them back. Football is expensive & time consuming - it’s very easy for people to just not attend. I think we have well over 40k fans who ‘could’ attend games, but the recent history of this club has meant they’re out of the routine. Whilst it sounds like an excuse, it’s just a fact that certain relegation & an expensive day out for a likely loss isn’t going to pull those people back. 2 or 3 solid years of results, a promotion from league one & investment from a good new owner might do it though. We've had years worth of damage done to this fanbase. It’s going to take years of rebuild and positive results to bring everyone fully back together.

When people stop going to football, it’s very hard to get them back. Chansiri has seriously damaged this club.

Some late night thoughts… Meaning no mal intent towards the supporter base and absolutely not meant as a criticism of the magnificent support that this club has, but recent games have shown me a couple of things… We have a ‘core’ of 25-30k fans who will show out and support this club no matter what - we could be in the national league, and 25-30k would maintain regular interest in our club. Absolutely fantastic and completely admirable. Not many, if any clubs could achieve that given our recent history. All that said, and not at all taking away from that, 25-30k is our maximum draw at this level and in these circumstances. We will just about sell out against the pigs, but again it evidences our ‘maximum’ of roughly 30k home fans in the ‘C*******’ era. However, this club has huge potential. As an example, Wembley has has shown that we have the capacity to draw on far more fans, but it takes consistent achievement or exceptional results on the field to achieve these ‘extra’ numbers. Our ‘usuals’ number 25-30k (fantastic support nonetheless), but the club and new owners need to find a way to tap into that extra 10-20k+ that are interested, but don’t turn up for the ‘normal’ games. Ultimately football is a result game, but for me personally I find it interesting how our club has the proven potential to expand, and I just hope new owners acknowledge that, instead of relying on the usual 25-30k to support the club. Just some observations and personal opinions! Wawaw. UTO!

I find it fascinating that there is a will to disprove the fact that the club themselves declared the last derby as ‘sold out’. If the club say it’s sold out then to me that’s end of discussion…

Going to be more or less only single seats together by Friday. Lower lep will definitely be opened for home fans

I do think this will still sell out, but we’ll likely limp to a sell out as opposed to there being huge demand to sell it out now.

I’ve got to say I’m surprised that these haven’t flown off the shelf. Though we want to win every game, this really is the one main home game that really ‘means’ something still this season.

Looks like the jiggery pokery of the ticketing site has started prior to this mornings 9am release. EE in the south is now on sale and a load of restricted view tickets have been taken off sale in the kop. The enigma of the Hillsborough home capacity continues…

Block EE has a capacity of 574 and block KK has a capacity of 335. Only around 100 seats were released in each block, so there’s a good 600-700 unsold seats in those two blocks still. Add the 545 capacity of block AA and you’re looking at roughly 1200 unreleased/unsold seats in the south still.

1000 unsold 1300 ish not yet on sale in the south 400 ish not on sale in the north (T) Id guess around 28,400 attendance if Norwich bring ~750
