  1. His job is to win a game of football. Anyone vilifying his comments or suggesting he should ignore his professional duty is being naive. What he says doesn’t mean protests can’t happen, but don’t expect he’ll want any environment other than something that’s beneficial to winning football matches. Comments such as “let’s see what he says when he doesn’t get paid” are reductive.
  2. I don’t go in for all that. I think the answer for everything is simple. He hates being challenged. He can’t sit with it.
  3. We’ve struck gold getting the manager in and turning around our fortunes. All you had to do was stay quiet. Yes, people were still negative in how you’re running things. However… All you had to do was stay quiet. The team are in a relatively good position, the manager understandably smelling something of a chance and pushing for more (what manager doesn’t?) All you had to do was use your brain and speak to him. It was to YOUR benefit as it would make the club more valuable. Fragile. Egotistical. Unable to understand what you’ve got under your nose. You’ve got a lot wrong already. For many too much. But it might have been salvageable. All you had to do was stay quiet. But you didn’t. I’m in despair. You’ve ruined the best chance at a crack of doing something in this league. We may still, but it’ll be in spite of your absolute inability to just absorb the negative chatter and your brilliance at turning any situation 10 shades worse. F**k me. Just stop.
  4. We certainly have a problem. Having a difficult time explaining this situation to my son and trying to distinguish the bad people from the rest of the decent folk. Not an easy task.
  5. Someone connected to 1867. Stirring. Case closed. Credible group?
  6. It was an ironic statement in the sense you can’t bash a man for doing something and not doing something at the same time.
  7. Wow. Changing history now just to bash the chairman with a cheap dig? The reason Marvin didn’t leave was previously was because Chansiri wanted a fee for him to go on loan. So if we end up selling Johnson for £1m plus, will you give Chansiri the credit of his foresight in the value of the player?
  8. You need to look at it as not the value of him as a single player. But the value that he he brings working within this team. The value of being relegated if we don’t replace the skills he gives us. Losing him for £1m could cost us many more millions after a relegation. Keep him.
  9. You’re on a media platform, you digital madman.
  10. So you think we’re not far off from him asset stripping, laying off staff, cancelling hotels for the team and making the catering for the team pre packaged crap? All of which is happening at Reading. Our chairman is doing a bad job, no doubt, but to compare and think we’re close is madness to me. However, wasn’t it the Chansiri family (or close business colleagues) who owned Reading and was forced out and sold to this lot in charge now who are asset stripping along with having liquidated 2 previous clubs? Interesting…
  11. But we wouldn’t go as far as invading the pitch? He’s not laying folk off, cancelling hotels etc is he?
  12. Surely their club are in a far worse situation than ours? From what I understand their owner or a villain. We can’t say Chansiri is the same as him can we?
  13. That awkward sex scene in Watchmen though… Also, JJ, Reyt player.
