And compared to the new stadiums others have developed it’s only about half the size of what would be needed. That’s the problem, very few sites in the city that wouldn’t need either a huge cut & fill because of the hills or buying up other peoples property.

Unfortunately neither Watmore or Redmond have good injury records, certainly in the last few years. So I can understand why there maybe some hesitancy. The last thing we need is to sign a player that never gets fit for long enough to play more than a couple games given our current squad situation

It’s a positive that the game comes after an international break, to give the lads a rest. It slightly levels things up a bit re squad size and energy levels. Provided of course none of our internationals get crocked. It would be a boost as well if Liam Cooper could be signed up ahead of the game. We need someone with his stature back there to marshal the others.

When will people realise that creating a negative atmosphere at the stadium doesn’t help the team or the club. If you are unhappy with DC this isn’t the way to do it. It only ends up with us feeling the downside by the team not succeeding. By all means if you feel it necessary to protest against the owner go ahead, but please can we find a way that doesn’t detrimentally impact on the hard work the coach and team are doing because they are doing a really good job and as DR says if we keep behind the team, who know what could happen. The alternative is to undermine the coach and the team.

They’ve a new manager, we’ve not done great in some of the recent against them. They are a big physical side and we are coming off the back of several games close together. So I’m a bit worried. Don’t get me wrong I think we could win but I see them as being a bit like Preston, who we’ve also struggled against. How do you know I’m wrong, have you changed seats recently? I have and that’s what I’m basing my response. If this is true I’m genuinely sorry for Steelman, but it is completely at odds with what I was told only 2 seasons ago because the club recognise not everyone renews at the first time of offering.

I’m afraid this all sounds like bullshit. The seats for next season aren’t released until later in the year, so no one will be able to buy a season ticket that has already been sold this season. I’m talking from experience when I moved seats a couple of seasons ago they told me I would have to renew in my same seat until the deadline for the end of season renewal date had passed.

I’d be amazed if this happened but it could be an impact like Mr S Fletcher, he’d certainly lead the line for the likes of Gassama and Windass to feed off.

Last season on the whole after DR started the atmosphere was ok and quite good at times. This season definitely meh, but I suspect it’s partly expectation and partly opposition being negative because of what DR achieved last season. Fans need to be more patient and provide some more impetus when the team are struggling

I’d be fairly confident it’s “ON” tomorrow, looking at the weather forecast. But give our current run with match officials and the EFL I would not rule out a forfeit and 3 points to Cardiff because we didn’t warn them it’s cold, windy and raining.
