Only option now is players refusing to play
I'm an Essex Owl replied to SheffWed's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Yeah but Reading weren’t in the state we are in now for 4 or 5 seasons - we have already had the same steady decline Reading did before it got desperate for them - it’s now desperate for us - e don’t have a few seasons… -
Very sad news RIP Milan

Not true. Some of their fans did -but not all / when the absolute majority stopped going it worked - No owner can survive a complete boycott if you really are Wednesday just stop going. FFS in the words on the Godlike Bryan Ferry “Let’s stick together” -
Do the c n u t s who went tonight call it a day. This is not infighting. You are killing our club…

I didn’t think I would ever love a Wednesday number 9 as much as my avatar but then Greggers came along and nearly knocked Banno off. Yes Hirsty will always be the best but Gregory really have everything when he pulled on that shirt. Lots of great memories- MK Dons away (the Bannan worldie game) when the “He’s our striker song was staring to get real purchase amongst the fans). Obviously the POF assist and his brilliant performance in the Peterborough home leg but I remember Portsmouth at home last game of the season we didn’t go up. He was unplayable - showed Hirst junior what a real centre forward does. Got as big a standing ovation when he was substituted as Incan remember. He walked off the pitch on the North Stand side then round in front of the Kop - 28,000 fans singing HIS song. That must have felt good sorry it didn’t end so great (fwiw I think Röhl got it wrong that season not playing him) and once again a massive Chancer piece of negligence robbed Greggers of half a season of his career. He may have been a blade (he wasn’t) who cares? Once an owl always an owl. He was our striker our number nine… Have a great retirement Lee

Yeah I get it - It’s really important that those who don’t renew this season can get their old seats back under new owners because those who don’t renew now are the ones who will make the difference between him staying and going - WAWAW - Black n Gold until it’s sold…
-
Except some of us didn’t renew last season for this one already (for the first time not renewing in 12 years) becuase we could see this shitstorm coming - what about us?

Here’s what you could have won. Bully’s star prize! -
Apart from the fact that we will be grateful if you leave Scott Twine at home the thing that springs to mind about Bristol City here at a Hillsborough (and sorry in advance for bringing a bad memory up) is that I have NEVER in over 45 years watching live football, ever seen a match swing so violently in a 30 seconds as when Wednesday won 3-2 in the 2016/17 season. Tammy Abraham sticks you 2-0 up at half time - we pull one back and then Sammy Hutchinson give away a penalty and gets sent off at the same time. Lee Tomlin steps up. It is about to be 3-1 to City with us down to 10 - game over. Remarkably he misses the penalty hitting it against the post so hard that it ricochets mid way in to our half allowing a quick counterattack which Gary O Neil stops at the cost of a red card himself. Literally within 10-15 seconds we have gone from 3-1 down and a man down to 2-1 down and both teams with 10. Bannan scores from 30’yards and then Kieron Lee pops up in the 98th minute to make it 3-2 to the Owls Fantastic game but probably a painful journey back for your fans This was not meant as a wind up - just genuinely a sliding doors moment with that penalty Anyway you are going to absolutley batter us this time so hopefully those bad memories will be faded…

No. You do you (even if that means the club you say you love effectively dies) You will protest? - Will that protest extend to not attending (rather than boycotting) the Leeds game? If not then your “protest” is effectively the same as protesting against the Tories last election by voting for your local Conservative candidate -
You can’t celebrate a goal against us EVER - don’t care who you are

I agree “Down with this sort of thing…”
