EFL green light spectators this weekend
Twaddle replied to TodwickOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
The deaths you are referring to are co-morbidities. People are dying of cancer with Covid on the death certificate. People are dying with heart problems and Covid is on the death certificate. You do not have to fudge the numbers if this was like it is being portrayed. As an example A Sheffield paramedic told a police friend of mine that all sorts of deaths are being atributed to covid when it is not the case. A fanily in Sheffield had a loved one die with Covid on the death certificate. The insurance company was not going to pay. They paid for a separate autopsy which showed the death certificate was incorrect and the insurance company paid. A relative of a friend of mine went into hospital with leaking heart valve and Covid is on the certificate -

So how come we can all go indoors into pubs without a mask and yet we have to go with a mask in a supermarket, on a bus, on a train. Why can we not go outdoors to a football match ? The Pub Paradox. 2 minute video https://twitter.com/FatEmperor/status/1305454060280086528 -

Here are some numbers. These are NHS England website but the screenshot is from Twitter. Running total of deaths in hospital purely from Covid19 up to 26th August. 1390 -
Bit of guesswork here. It does not seem to be accepting my code. I can log in and get to the stage where I can watch previous match highlights but not whole matches. For others when you have logged in I would advise going to the bottom of the ifollow list and click on next match. If it is asking you to purchase a match pass then I assume your code is not working either. At this late stage in the day it may be that you have to purchase a match pass and then try for a refund

This was Saturday in direct lead up to the 3rd goal. Borner then comes rushing out like a headless chicken. He has absolutely got to stop it.

xG stands for xamine Google. When you do you find this. 1. What does xG mean. The term xG in football is an abbreviation which stands for 'expected goals'. It is a statistical measurement of the quality of goalscoring chances and the likelihood of them being scored. An xG measurement can be generated for both teams as a whole and individual players, giving an indication as to how well they should be performing in front of goal. 2. How is xG calculated. A number of factors are taken into account when calculating xG. They include: type of assist, whether it was a shot taken with the head or foot, the angle and distance of the shot, and whether it was a big chance. The context of a scoring opportunity is precisely what informs its xG rating. A rebound falling to a player in front of an open goal six yards out will have a high xG score, but a shot taken from 35 yards at a narrow angle will have a low xG score.

I saw Dawsons kicking as ok last night. For those that think we were lucky to 'get away' with the second goal Dawson was fouled as the screenshots clearly show. The attacker momentum carries him though the keeper as Dawson is about to catch it. That's why in the third screenshot they are in their relative positions of attacker is nearer to the goal than keeper (who is speadeagled) and the ball drops in no mans land. Oh and by the way for Saturday's equaliser by Barnsley, Dawson as we know should have put the ball into the stand as opposed to back into play. However their move starts with an awful corner by Bannan that is nowhere near clearing the first man and then they break. Thats why for that goal our defence consisted of Forestieri and Palmer. I didn't notice anyone on here berating Mr Shouty as a contributing factor. Lastly for me we have to stop this back passing unless absolutely necessary if its clear its going to put the next man under pressure. We seem to do it far too often. There is even less point passing to the keeper for him to have to lump it forward. The defender might as well just lump it forward in the first place. Its just adding to our fragility.

Just as an extra. This was an article in the Star from June 2019 How Sheffield Wednesday transfers actually work: who finds players, who is on the transfer committee and who has the final say The transfer window is a baffling time of rumours, eleventh hour deals and missed opportunities – but how do transfers really work at Sheffield Wednesday? By Nancy Frostick Thursday, 6th June 2019, 11:11 am Updated Thursday, 6th June 2019, 10:17 pm Shortly after Dejphon Chansiri completed his buy-out of the Owls in March 2015, he hired Adam Pearson and Glenn Roeder to work alongside Stuart Gray as part of a transfer committee. After Gray lost his job in the summer and Pearson departed the club, Carlos Carvalhal brought changes to the transfer structure at Hillsborough. The club eventually decided to streamline their committee, prompting the Owls to adopt a more traditional model where the head coach has a significant input into their transfer business but the final word – and responsibility for negotiations – lies with Chansiri and his global advisers."It is down to the coach to identify players but, of course, I still have the final say,” said Chansiri."If I'm the one who chooses the players, I should not hire a coach and I should be the coach!" THE FIVE KEY MEN Dejphon Chansiri Based in Bangkok but regularly attends Wednesday matches – Chansiri plays a big part in the transfer committee. Agents frequently contact Chansiri but he has stressed: "I have always said it is down to the coach to identify potential transfer targets, not me." Amadeu Paixao Paixao, formerly an agent with Doyen Sports, has been a close advisor to Chansiri for a number of years. He has his own football connections and is heavily involved in the negotation process. Steve Bruce This summer is Bruce's first full transfer window and the Owls boss is vastly-experienced with an array of contacts in the game. Bruce, together with Steve Agnew and Stephen Clemence, identifies potential targets and puts forward names of players he wants. David Downes and Dean Hughes Bruce raided his former club Aston Villa to bring in the pair earlier this year. Downes was appointed Wednesday's head of recruitment while Hughes is their recruitment analyst. Downes worked closely with Bruce at Villa Park and will go to watch players home and abroad. Hughes, meanwhile, was part of Bruce's Hull City set-up. THE OWLS’ TRANSFER RECORDSome observers have criticised the club's transfer dealings since Wednesday lost to Hull City in the play-off final three years ago. Almen Abdi, David Jones, George Boyd and Joost van Aken - to name a few - all flopped. But Chansiri has repeatedly defended their transfer policy, pointing out that even the top clubs in the country do not hit the jackpot when it comes to buying and selling players. It is worth pointing out that Adam Reach's market value has risen considerably in recent years following a string of eye-catching performances and Steven Fletcher has proven a solid free recruit.Bruce has only signed three players so far. Dominic Iorfa has showed glimpses of his ability and should only get better. The loan signings of Rolando Aarons and Achraf Lazaar looked good in patches but injuries prevented them from making a bigger impact.Only time will tell whether Bruce's decision to restructure their recruitment team has paid off.

It looks like because this is a sky sports action match there is a Now TV on your mobile 1 month pass for £5.99. You will have to download the Now tv app to make it work It also gives you that premier league rubbish for 1 month but not other football action.

There used to be issues with watching on firefox browser. Dont know if they were resolved with updates or not. Generally people watch on chrome. Starts not long before the match starts.
-
I understand the Saturday afternoon but I am not sure the fact of an away/home red button game makes any difference does it Mr Tom ?
-
There seems to be a bit of confusion in some posts. I will tell you what I know. Sky red button matches are NOT available on Now TV. Sky red button matches are made available to UK iFollow users. My personal experience watching on iFollow is very good however I always use computer and always chrome browser
