  1. Yeah I know I keep reading comments about it being embarrassing. We’ll all be there, maybe some prospective buyers will be there. The whole place will be buzzing,at kick off anyway.
  2. Virtually every Wednesday fan who wants to be at the game will be there. I presume tv cameras tend to move around showing different areas of the stadium during the game and don’t just focus on the lower leppings. So who do we want it to look good for on telly? I genuinely don’t get all the negativity about a few hundred tickets in the Away end?
  3. I think they go on general sale on Monday. Great deal isn’t it! £20 quid a match. What we’ve been saying for years. Price it realistically and we’ll turn up in our droves.
  4. Ah now it makes sense! Cheers for that! I never knew. Always thought it was the current season.
  5. As far as I knew I was convinced I didn’t have enough points to buy till Monday afternoon, but I logged in just to see what would happen and it has let me buy one! So I’m wondering if I’ve misunderstood how the points add up? Last seasons don’t carry over do they? I’m sure I only went to Coventry away and Derby at home last season to give me 20 points then Oxford and Norwich this season for another 20. Anyway glad I tried.
  6. Good on you for this! I’ve been down to Palace a couple of times and I was lucky enough to get tickets for Wimbledon this year and the sat nav brought me back through Battersea. So I know what a trek that is! An evening match as well!
  7. “You said the ticket prices for the Norwich match were too high.We agree with you they are” Such simple words. Straight away I feel respected and appreciated as a supporter. In a few days these guys have made me feel connected to the club again. I’ll never forget Saturday. The buzz in the club shop, the staff behind the counter looking genuinely happy to be so busy again. Fans smiling and hugging on the Kop greeting fellow supporters they maybe hadn’t seen for a while. I always sit right down at the front of the Kop and love turning around and taking it all in when it’s nearly full. Anyway, was at work this afternoon and found out about the Norwich game. Got in at half 10 and ticket ordered straight away. Then I’ve just read about the player’s training kit sale and autograph/photo days later this week…. brilliant idea! The pride in the club is well and truly back.
  8. I have to agree. What will it take for the apathy to change?
  9. Thursday press conference…general consensus on Owlstalk “what’s the point?” 2 days later and a win in the bag…” brilliant stuff” “ keep talking Henrik” Always amazing how a good result can change the optics. How fickle we are. Must be hard for him to keep things upbeat in the current climate.
  10. What’s happened at Blackburn? Watalogged pitch?
  11. Hillsborough a cauldron of noise, passion and anger? Be nice wouldn’t it!! More like someone doing a wet f@rt in a library and getting an eye roll from the romantic fiction section!!
  12. Amassing a reight squad now!!
  13. The band are decent. I find my foot tapping along many a time.
  14. A love an emotional compilation. The diving header at Wembley and Drew Talbot’s with the perfect day backing at Cardiff always get me… get lost! I’m not crying! You’re crying!!!
  15. I like that bit where you say “ this is just a time in our history “ It definitely is and I think eventually it’ll all get better. Might take a few years maybe but there will be good times again I’m sure. I just keep thinking about our elderly fans who might have had season tickets for donkey’s years and how depressing it must be for them to see what’s unfolding at the club and the thought that they might never see those better times. I’m ok. At 50 I’ve hopefully got plenty of time to enjoy great times at Hillsborough again. It’s even more for those fans that I want this owner to get out and never be seen again. Give these people some joy back.
