  1. I have to agree. What will it take for the apathy to change?
  2. Thursday press conference…general consensus on Owlstalk “what’s the point?” 2 days later and a win in the bag…” brilliant stuff” “ keep talking Henrik” Always amazing how a good result can change the optics. How fickle we are. Must be hard for him to keep things upbeat in the current climate.
  3. What’s happened at Blackburn? Watalogged pitch?
  4. Hillsborough a cauldron of noise, passion and anger? Be nice wouldn’t it!! More like someone doing a wet f@rt in a library and getting an eye roll from the romantic fiction section!!
  5. Amassing a reight squad now!!
  6. The band are decent. I find my foot tapping along many a time.
  7. A love an emotional compilation. The diving header at Wembley and Drew Talbot’s with the perfect day backing at Cardiff always get me… get lost! I’m not crying! You’re crying!!!
  8. I like that bit where you say “ this is just a time in our history “ It definitely is and I think eventually it’ll all get better. Might take a few years maybe but there will be good times again I’m sure. I just keep thinking about our elderly fans who might have had season tickets for donkey’s years and how depressing it must be for them to see what’s unfolding at the club and the thought that they might never see those better times. I’m ok. At 50 I’ve hopefully got plenty of time to enjoy great times at Hillsborough again. It’s even more for those fans that I want this owner to get out and never be seen again. Give these people some joy back.
  9. I have to agree with you. Someone started a thread in which they were frustrated with the managers post match comments yesterday ( think they wanted him to come out and say more strongly how he really felt about the whole sorry situation.) There is a lot of anger about at the moment. Most people disagreed with the Op( obviously fair enough) but then they are called a moron and a village idiot by some. Is there any need really? I don’t get it.
  10. Yes you did… if only people read posts properly before jumping down each other’s throats. It does feel like walking on egg shells on this forum at the moment. I posted a comment a while ago about something totally separate to the current troubles. Someone took part of my comment and tried to apply it to the Chansithi situation and pull me up on it. I couldn’t be bothered to get into a ******** for tat. I like to keep it light if I can. It’s a very sensitive time.
  11. I’ve never understood the anger when a fan celebrates a goal in the home end. It never even registers with me really. I just find the faux posturing quite amusing.
  12. Something worth watching inside Hillsborough for a change.
  13. The idea about fans donating to a charity seems to be a brilliant one. How good would a completely empty Hillsborough look? What’s the lowest amount of tickets we could get away with giving to Leeds too? 1000? If Sky pick it up it’d really get more publicity.
  14. I honestly think fans at Hillsborough ( if they must be there) need to take control of matches now and start to be disruptive. It’s your club. The games are irrelevant now. failing that everyone keep sitting on your hands and let the usual apathy wash over Hillsborough. Everyone quietly plod away grumbling under their breath and then rinse and repeat. The guy must be laughing his head off. There doesn’t seem to be any real anger in the stadium. It’s as though the summer didn’t happen.
