  1. Charles was involved with the open training session on the 29th Oct. Wasn't there so didn't see what he was being put through. But you'd have thought if he's had no setback he'll be close to a start.
  2. Wasn't Charles involved with the open training session at Hillsboro over 3 weeks ago, if he's had no set back surely he's fit.
  3. Next to Don though!
  4. What about down near Niagara, isn't the football in the community place on quite a bit of land?
  5. Thought this yesterday! Struggle there though, with the roads and traffic requirements I feel.
  6. I don’t think it’ll be a problem. Whatever happens, we’ll be in a better place and that’s all that really matters to the fans. All the anticipation and guessing about new owners is just a bit of fun, and most people are enjoying it. Instead, we could have been heading into the new year with Chansiri still in charge… the nightmare before Christmas.
  7. What is clear though is that whoever it is must have serious money, you don’t enquire about sites for a new ground unless you’re operating at that level.
  8. Exactly. And like I said in another post, it’s interesting that Rob comes out with this just hours after The Bizzle’s update. A few on here were dismissing the idea of anyone approaching the council, this pretty much confirms it happened and gives a bit of weight to what Bizzle said. Feels more than a coincidence. Rob hasn’t said the Waltons aren’t involved, only that they weren’t the ones in this meeting.
  9. Nobody will moan about the Waltons!
  10. Wonder if the Waltons are the ones they are waiting for!?
  11. So is it accurate to say they've enquired about a NEW ground as well planning to the existing?
  12. Redmond to sign, so I've been told.
  13. Good point. Still a day to go!
  14. Ashley must really want it, I honestly thought he'd have withdrawn by now.
  15. Says that Ashley, McEvoy and an Indonesian group are the three left. Middle Eastern group withdrawn because of the competitiveness of the auction and the on-going costs.
  16. Thanks! Do we know what is said - who's the other two?
  17. Thanks, anybody copy and paste it into here?
  18. Considering the last 5–6 years and the 25-year decline, I think the inevitable upgrade will go down well with most fans. The Walton's is a nice dream, and to be fair, after everything we’ve had to put up with, I think we are allowed that luxury.
  19. I reckon deep down he knows that it won’t be too long before we’re dominating the city again.
  20. Here, here.
  21. Main takeaway: you don’t casually show £50m in liquid funds. Anyone who can do that has serious money behind them.
  22. Yes!! and we've already signed Cooper
