If we stick with the majority of these expect a season like 23/24 again. How many would, and week after week, get into a starting line up in a top half championship side ? That should be the answer to the question. Time to say goodbye to a few I’m afraid.

We spend next to nothing on players and people on here think they should be world beaters! Think we need to remember what pond we’re fishing in.

Just goes to show how far behind we’re. League one spend at best. Unfortunately if we want to compete at this level, an increase of spend is needed and regardless of any agent spend and if they deserve it or not.

Defensively we’ve been very poor. What was said at half time?! we need a new left centre half and quick still relying on an aging Bannan and Palmer isn’t the way forward and should’ve been addressed.

Question is, was this a one off? Plymouth were awful and rightly so are now one of the favourites to go down. Unfortunately our season will be based on 46 games. All I’m saying is we need a plan B and be quicker implementing it if so.

Is it just me or are we a bit predicable to play against? We don’t seem to change/adapt much, and when we do it’s not quick enough 2-0 down and didn’t make a sub till 70th minute. I just think sometimes we need to change things and mix it up more.

I know some won’t like to hear this, there’s only one person to blame for this persistent playing out from the back!!! We simply haven’t got the players to do this.

On that showing think I’d have gone Gregory over smith any day
