My older brother worked with Peter when he became a police officer. Reckons that he was both a great bloke and brilliant at his job.

Full Boycott Against Middlesbrough - How Many Tickets Left?
dehowl replied to BIG D's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Then this current scenario must act as a wake up call to them. League 1 nailed on next season already and if he’s not shifted, it’ll be League 2. Or worse. -
I remember this happening. Ron was a very tough act to follow, but Peter didn’t have the calibre of player that Ron had. We were in steep decline by this time.

He’s far and away the best goalkeeper I’ve ever seen play for us.

As many embargoes as points on the board. Take a bow, Chumpsiri. FFS…….

I’m 68. Member of the trust and attendee of all organised protests outside of the stadium thus far. I do this as I decided a few years ago I wouldn’t give our current owner another penny. Frustrates the hell out of me when I see our supporters (of all ages) breeze past those assembled after the games to protest. Some wearing the black and gold scarves too.

Is this a good idea for a protest?
dehowl replied to 1867tim's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Nowhere near enough, I’m afraid. We started out with a few hundred and by 2.50, there were approximately 20 of us left. Stoke scoring early on didn’t help matters. -

Tried that at the Stoke game. By kick off time there were around 20 of us left outside the ground. Protesters had either gone in to the game or headed off home. -
It really pains me not to go, especially as the team and manager/training staff are a performing incredibly well in impossible circumstances. But not another penny until Chumpsiri is gone.

I truly believe that it’s not spite. He’s monumentally dim and is the worst so called businessman on the entire planet. All is compounded by his arrogance and greed. A toxic mixture indeed.

Millwall away - League Cup - 1976
dehowl replied to fredmciverslovechild's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Cannot recall this particular game but clearly remember our league game at Charlton in October 71.(2-2 draw). Just after half time, loads of Millwall fans rushed into our end. Absolute mayhem ensued.
