  1. And it would be deserved. But never doubt a virgin IKNer
  2. Excuse me! My mate is definitely degenerate but he’s not much of a gambler!
  3. WAITKAW But not all of us
  4. Stroking myself as I type!
  5. Don’t spoil it?! Have you ever been ITK? Lower than you would ever believe mate
  6. The mate was garbage as an 18 year old and he’s now nearly 60, so hopefully Lowe. He did say ‘welcome to a proper football club’ which made me smile
  7. A mate of mine is currently playing poker with Max Lowe and he is signing for us tomorrow. Not much of an IKN I know but it is the closest to an IKN that I will ever be!! I’m an ITKer, who’d have ever thought it! Well maybe?!
  8. Best pre match atmosphere ever for me. We stayed in Bristol the night before and weren’t exactly up with the larks on the morning of the match. Got on a train and arrived in Cardiff around 11.30, every pub in the city centre was rammed with Wednesdayites, flags up everywhere and non stop singing. It was the same in the streets, just brilliant. The train back to Bristol was good too with all the old songs. Including one of my favourites, Harry Haslam, Alex Sabella wobbly wobbly woo, Stick the boot in what do you get, **it on the end of your shoe. And even one my Grandad taught me, Roll along Sheffield Wednesday roll along, Put the ball in the net where it belongs, when Dooley gets the ball, it is sure to be a goal, Roll along Sheffield Wednesday roll along. A great day out
  9. I have had some contact with Simon, Ian’s other son in recent years on social media. Us teachers stick together. He is a massive Wednesdayite and takes his kids to our games. We missed each other a couple of years ago in the home end at Crewe by a few rows. Spider is a legend. My memories of the BDM as a 14 year old and then Blackburn away later in the same season ( which is not only still my favourite away game ever but also the first time I realised how massive we were ) are right up there in my best ever Wednesday moments. RIP Spider and very best wishes to the whole family
  10. Ha, watched the first leg of last year’s playoffs in an Irish pub in Dubrovnik, that was more of a ‘FFS Wednesday’ night than a ‘get in’ one!
  11. Nearly 60. Haven’t lived in Sheffield since I was 18. Watched us on about 85 grounds over the years. Didn't go last week, nearly stopped watching at half time. Couldn’t get today either but was literally jumping around the room when the third went in and didn’t feel safe until the 94th minute. I shouldn’t care this much. I only get to about 6 or 7 games a year. Why does Wednesday do this to us? Wouldn’t swap it for the ****ing world
  12. What a brilliant post. My son, now 23, has never lived in Sheffield but he will be a lifelong Owl and will continue to be a proper Wednesdayite long after I’ve gone. Neither of us could get up from Exeter today, no excuses, but your post has really struck a chord. He has been by my side at places like Gillingham, Fleetwood, Cheltenham and Preston. We have lost at Wembley together and won at Wembley together. We would both have lived to have been there today but your post says everything that needs to be said about Wednesday, family and legacy. I love this club. We love this club and if today brings one more little Wednesdayite into the family then it has been a great day. FFS if ever there was a WAWAW post this is it
