Interesting how many times Iawful goes off "injured" when he's having a bad game

Absolute waste of a shirt. Up there with Jeffers and Bothroyd as one of the worst players to ever grace our shirt.
-
Win, lose or draw - any amount of chest pumping or anything he says is completely insignificant to each and everyone of us. And we've spent years saying that lot are obsessed!

I remember meeting Roger when he came to our school in 1980 He had signed for Oldham and he said he was looking forward to coming back to Hillsborough as if he had the ball and he was near the dug-out he was going to smash it straight into Jack's face

It was thank you

I recall it as Millmoor, I was on the Tivoli that Day....mayhem.

I remember around 1978 when YTV used to pick goal of the season, player of the season and young player of the season for all the teams in the region. Martin Tyler almost apologetically chose Brian Hornsby's screamer at Millmoor as goal of the season. Brian Hornsby as player of the season and a Wednesday defender (Williamson???) as young player of the season.

Chansiri removed from North Stand
Bulldog replied to EcclesallOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I actually thought something like this was imminent when they changed the official Facebook page from the North Stand to a picture of the Kop through the Leppings lane net. -

Are you old enough to remember the young ones watching the quintessential sitcom "Oh Crikey"? -
He's bereft of talent and a willingness to try I tell ya!

If he fails will he be Neil McCan't?

Whether he goes or not will make no difference to where we finish this season. Personally, I think he will stay

Does he live in Hope?

Ryan ???? Big stocky defender who I seem to recall made his debut away at Coventry early nineties. (When they announced his name we'd never heard of him) Played a brilliant game and seemed a good prospect then ended up playing non league football within a couple of years -
Wonderful post that brings back so many memories. Will we ever see their like again?

Boycotting games and mental health
Bulldog replied to Nannan's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I've pretty much given up on football completely. I suffer with mental health issues and just thinking about being at Hillsborough would not sit comfortable with me. I haven't seen a game on Sky other than ours all season. I went to see Redcar v Hallam last week and really enjoyed the day out. Grass roots is the future for me. -
Nice one!

Maybe if they'd have been in it to start with, it wouldn't have been so easy to withdraw their wages.
