Completely agree. I also never really understood why we can't change the rules to enable retrospective cards. It might not change the result but it would quickly change behaviour. I actually have a lot of sympathy for refs, it's largely a thanksless job and getting more and more difficult to ascertain when cheating is and is not happening.

So I made a table of our points and the points I felt we should have got from the game on the balance of play. This is very subjective and also relies on my highly imperfect memory. I put in a controversy factor to denominate how borderline the outcome and "fair" outcome is. Happy to be corrected on any of them really, but I have us on a massive 57 points, most of those points coming in the last 8 games or so. That number scares me to be honest as it probably means I've been too biased. Lastly, I had forgotten how bad our start was!!!
