    True story, I had that shirt with Hirst on the back. Leaving club shop I saw him and got it signed. Some spanner that was there asked him if he was playing for the reserves later and he just laughed it off. Obviously I didn't keep it and just ruined it playing Wembley all summer.

    It's not like a recent development. Well before January transfer window he spent the whole Euros on telly, lingering at the bar, batting his eyes at any Leicester or Leipzig. We can change management but also let this guy go to wherever he thinks he deserves to be.

    Don't want him back personally. He's an ok manager but he'll be off in October when people start sacking their own. Best off starting again whatever the ownership situation.

    I saw an interview lately with Steve Clarke where he said a big problem with modern players and having better facilities is they want to stay behind use gym, yoga etc. Hard to get them to bugger off home and rest up. Would'nt be surprised if our lot aren't lazy, just working to instructions.

    Agree it's frustrating to watch but we've got to at least try and tempt some of these sides further forward.
