    I get this point and I’ve thought about this too - my hope though is that is gives him an insight into who will be buying season tickets next time for next season - if the ground is nearly empty that’s a huge statement of intent from the fanbase

    If only 6or 7,000 turn up for home games that’s a massive downturn in revenue projection for next ST sales

    A very empty Hillsborough for league games will prove to DC that there is no point putting early bird season tickets in sale - he’ll be able to count how many are likely to buy them. Boycotting home games is a huge statement to force change

    I’m an early birder, and even though it feels wrong to not go after buying the ticket, it feels even more wrong to make it worse by punishing myself by going to the home games - honestly! Cut my losses and try and add some value back to my life by doing something meaningful on a Saturday
