One of the odder things I saw yesterday (ST but only used it twice so far) was a lady in a black and gold scarf carrying a big tray of coffees and pies. Totally agree with recent posts saying we shouldn’t be yelling at each other or calling people out as individuals but the cognitive dissonance on that was was really clanging.

Actually, while we’re on about distracting and cheering ourselves up, made me remember going mildly insane and doing this in 2016 - can’t believe the stats I gave DC back then, he’d be an instant lose card if I remade it today

The cover is so Chat GPT that I’m starting to worry this whole thread is AI

there’s a lot to love about this post, but the fact you spelled ‘shoo-ins’ properly has given me more pleasure than anything else

Nobody else has ever done the 92-93 free kick routine where one player runs over the ball and keeps going, then the taker slots it to the runner down the line, and we score every time. It all went downhill when we stopped doing that once a game. Also the band used to be alright but only when they played Steptoe after a bad miss by the opposites. Also I never really liked Big Ron, always seemed a massive belltower to me. -

That ship has long since sailed. His options now are to leave, or to run us on a League Two budget as a break-even, which he might just about be able to afford but which will never ever earn him a profit. He’s not a football fan, he’s a money fan, so why would he do the latter? Takeover is coming, might not be in time to save us this season but sit tight. It will happen.
-
The only thing I ever liked about them was when they were funny - like doing the Steptoe theme when the opposites missed a sitter etc. That sense of humour seems long gone now, they can’t even keep time to Hi Ho, within three claps it’s wildly out of whack. Served their time imo, I’d just have a couple of decent drummers if we must, and let the trumpets go do England shiiiite

Agree with why would he hold on. MASSIVELY disagree with the notion that he’s ruined or sucked the heart out of it - he simply doesn’t have that power or influence. WE THE FANS ARE THE HEART, always have been, always will be. No us, no club. It’s doesn’t *have* to exist - we invented it and it’s ours. Forever. If you’re struggling - and this goes for anyone on here - talk to one of us. It’s a horrible time and we get it. It’s genuinely hard to work through. But together we will. Honestly mate if you’re feeling low, shout up. All the love. This nightmare will pass, and we’ll still be Wednesday. No little random business failure asshat is gonna take us down.

I went today with my dad. First one this season for me. We’ve talked about it plenty and are aware of all the issues from all sides - we’re not attending anything we haven’t already paid for a year ago, and spending nothing in the ground. (In fact if anything we’re costing him money by being there and using any free facilities we can ) Yeah it does feel weird and unproductive to be there, and I’ll miss plenty until he’s gone, but it’s mine and my dad’s time together and it’s important to us. I also appreciated having the opportunity to lend my voice to a protest in person, and to cheer on the efforts of a bunch of kids who are beginning their careers in shocking circumstances. I also wanted to see what the impact of the stay-aways (which I’ve been one of myself so far, and will be many times again) was - and I must say it was very noticeable. No queues anywhere - toilets, bars, kiosks, car parks - and didn’t really see anyone except a couple of kids with bottles of Fanta carrying around anything they’d bought at the ground. He’s got my money and he’s getting zero else. Anyone calling me a scab can get bent, plenty bought Leeds tickets for the TPP but then stayed on their high horses by not actually attending - now that IS thick as mince.

I refuse all cookies and trackers from X because it's an absolute hellsite with a weirdo fascist* at the helm, so I for one appreciate it in this format - can't see anything when it's just an X post embedded. *allegedly, for legal reasons actually Neil can we not give them traffic, force it in this format -
