These guys are the lifeblood of the fan base and all credit to them. they live and breathe it. Lovely people. They stand and slate Chansiri but asked if they’d be buying next season (26/27) you see the change as if you’re asking the unquestionable. I think people will be very disappointed if they expect a huge reduction on ST numbers next year. Everyone has a reason and theirs is usually the most valid.

Just to add, I’m talking about the guys that plan their life (weddings, holidays, anniversaries) around whether Wednesday are playing home/away League or cup. They won't budge

I don’t think you’d find anybody who backs DC now. Think it more too many people don’t want to change their routine, whether a pie and a pint at half time, attending or just doing things they normally would. DC or no DC. I speak to many ST holders and whilst some have adjusted (won’t buy next season), there’s a lot of stubborn guys that would rather someone else make the effort and just carry on as normal. The Boro game for example “who are the trust to tell me what games I should and shouldn’t go too”

That game needs to be abandoned

I spoke to a season ticket holder the other day. His idea of protesting was making DC wait for his ST money for next season by not buying an early bird ST and leaving it later than usual.

The problem is, a lot more eyes are on us now we are in the Championship. We’ve got the rest of this season to make some noise before we possibly drop off the radar into league 1 and then possibly 2. We wont be cannon fodder in league 1 like we are this season so some may ‘settle’ for mid table mediocrity as long as we win a few and are somewhat competitive.

Watch the group that come from the North, the stewards do nothing when there’s more than 5/6, and rightfully so, they aren’t paid enough to try and move them off. It would be good to go again v Sheff U at home, on Sky, all eyes on and avoid the inevitable drubbing we’d likely suffer.
