    Got a few Geordie Mags fan mates and they corroborate the story that Mike Ashley held the rights to selling the official replica shirts not only for Newcastle United but also Rangers exclusively through his Sports Direct stores. There are articles online reporting that the clubs got 7p per £1 of a shirt sold and Mike Ashley the remainder. £60 shirt? £4.20 to NUFC/Rangers £55.80 to Mike Ashley With all the trauma of the last 10 years weighing heavily, my thoughts are we are better off with our current owner.     This. There’s still a lot of football still to come. How people can think they can predict multiple results from different teams over 6 remaining games is baffling. Harry Rednap, no less, is quoted as saying “you can’t predict football results”. I strongly agree with his assertion.
