Why waste your energy being furious now, what will it acheive? The most important thing has happened with Chansiri going. It's now a waiting game, trouble is some people seem to think the club can be rebuilt in a day.

We would still be bottom of the league with any manager in world football. I get it, a 3-0 derby loss to them lot hurts but look at the debris of our post chansiri squad and get a better perspective
-
What I saw was the wind knocked out of our sails early and a real lack of quality to make a difference, added to a ref that protected Sheff Utd
-
There was effort but pound for pound, man for man, the Blades had our number. No point being angry about it, the only thing that has changed is Chansiri is no longer here. The ruin remains.

Dont be such a numpty Fortunately, money men wont think like you

It is what it is, look at the two sides. Not sure what some people were expecting. We have 3 Championship quality players at a push. Let's not overreact to this

Minutes Silence, Remembrance Day.
Mystic Neg replied to huddsOWL's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I was also at the game and I'm pretty sure the announcer said that the last post would be played, then a minutes silence would start on the referees whistle and end a minute later on another referees whistle. People around me all thought the ref forgot to blow the whistle, as did I. -
Have we timed this just right?
Mystic Neg replied to nethertonowl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I honestly cant remember the last Championship season someone hasn't described as poor. Last season was described as poor and the 3 teams promoted are currently all out of the Prem relegation places and the play off winners could go 2nd tomorrow. It's not poor, it is what it is, the current 21st to 44th best teams in the English pro leagues, a stable for all teams to make a push to challenge the big boys in the prem following a good season. -
I very much doubt this is a sleight on Sheffield Wednesday by BBC and Sky. In the whole scheme of things, I'd say this is pretty small fry.

Understand the love for Barry but I'm confident the first thing any new owner does shouldn't be and wont be giving him a big pay rise.

I'd settle for playing at Oakwell or New York Stadium for a year while they rebuild New Hillsborough Stadium.

BREAKING : New prices vs Norwich City - get buying!!
Mystic Neg replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
It is an interesting stance to take I'll give you that, though probably in jest. Human nature dictates that there will be many who've not missed a game for 10 years that will resent new faces showing up and embracing the chance for a brighter future without Chansiri. "I've sat here and spent a fortune while you lot abandoned us, chuffin glory hunters." All while we are heading for League One with the lowest ever championship points total. Though it's not about that. It's a celebration of the freedom and opportunity we have. -

SWFC IN ADMINISTRATION - CONFIRMED
Mystic Neg replied to Sambo89's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I'm going to celebrate the end of Chansiri harder than any cup win, birthday or wedding. WHAT A RELIEF Well done to the trust and all who have helped expedite it -
BREAKING: just days from a winding-up order over tax bill
Mystic Neg replied to MattP's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Might just be me but it has got to the point that I'd rather there was no Sheffield Wednesday than having any more of what DC is peddling. The club is already dead. -
Which young players did you expect to make it?
Mystic Neg replied to WimJunk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Truth is though, it is very difficult to break through and get the proper support you need at broken football clubs. The fact you could only count about a dozen young lads that looked like they had something this century backs that up. -

Thought Owen Morrison would do well when he first arrived but then never really got going -
'The State of Sheffield Wednesday' fan survey - The Star
Mystic Neg replied to Toadie's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
The first couple of questions. What do we learn from whether fans think Chansiri will still be here in 6 months or at the start of next season? Whether we are optimists or pessimists? I admire the good intention but it is honestly a poor set of questions and the sample population is spoiled immediately by sending it to the whole Star readership, Wednesday fan or not. Be better asking the relative SWFC forum owners like Neil, TWS, and supporters trust to admister the survey to their memberships. -
Just checking the OP knows they aren't Championship quality players. Not world beaters that have gone missing

To everyone that went on the pitch
Mystic Neg replied to Portland owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Or, doing what the club captain and the vice captain should be seen to be doing -
It worries me somewhat that there already appears to be a cloud over his selection but everything points towards a big start at a famous club like SWFC. I just hope it doesnt descend into a bureaucratic red tape filled nightmare because we all need something quick. Expect we will be a big news story for months to come and if anything that will ramp up the pressure on DC and get the money men all waiting to save us.

Mystic Neg replied to Portland owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
The players are obviously going to say that they just want to play the game, to protect their own backs. The minute they start supporting the protests will be the minute they start to get hefty legal bills. I expect that privately they are pleased with the Trust's work and all want the same thing, Chansiri Out. -
It is pointless
