Never thought I would say this, but now think players and staff should say 'enough is enough ' and down tools until they are paid up to date. Yes, points deduction upcoming, but there has to be a 'moment' when it's all taken seriously and hands are forced...
No point docking the club points, it's not the club (coaches, players, admin, supporters) who are at fault. It's the Chairman who should be docked as it's all of his making, Don't punish the punished...
Have read the responses, and this is right to my mind. Not bad, just inexperienced but willing to learn. Will be disappointed if we are relegated in spite of others' write-off comments. A points deduction would break us unless proper funding comes in shortly (regardless of existing penalties). I remain idiotically optimistic - so should you all...
Let's not forget we've had no pre-season to get match fit - it does make a difference - we will win matches when the squad is fitter and bolstered by additions.
And if we don't go to matches, the players won't get paid - and if this doesn't happen, the club will quickly wind down...and we won't let that happen, will we!! And then who will we have a go at - never the players and manager in this situation - NEVER..
But surely the EFL are here to support us in our hour of need - not punish us for matters beyond our control. Fine or ban the Chairman, but not the club, players or supporters....
