  1. Copying what I said in the other thread: I think a lot of people are either misinformed or delusional. It's not just the Lep that needs tearing down, but also the NW corner. The North cannot be fully utilised due to concourse issues, on top of the issues with the North stands structural integrity, ideally the North would need to be rebuilt. All this talk about filling in the corners is all well and good but even the Kop cannot be fully utilised due to concourse and egress issues, so the Kop would need major work also. To stay at Hillsborough we'd need: Lep and NW corner demolished and replaced North stand rebuilt with modern concourse spacing Major changes to the Kop concourse so it can be fully utilised If the Kop and the North can be fully utilised again, fill in the corners of the Kop By the time you've done all this, it might just be easier to relocate to somewhere that also has room for things like a hotel and an area for post match entertainment similar to Southampton.

  3. When do they go on general sale? (if ever?)
  4. Heard it could be Mammadov, he's been a fan ever since 2014
  5. I'm from Sheffield but moved away 7 years ago. I love Hillsborough but its become very apparent that it's going to take a monumental amount of work to bring it out of the 60's and into 2025 and beyond.
  6. Some people on here seriously believe we would be the only club to not see a dramatic increase in attendances if we got promoted
  7. Was only a few seasons ago we already had 20-21k season tickets, we'd easily get 25k+ season tickets in the Prem
  8. Is reading comprehension hard? I said do people really think some of those 44k wouldn't attend.
  9. So clubs like Southampton, Ipswich, Brighton get 30k+ every match in the Prem but we wouldn't? What a load of nonsense. We would comfortably average 30k+ if we got back into the Prem.
  10. How so? The Lep absolutely has to be flattened, a long with the NW corner. The north has major issues with structural integrity and cannot be utilised fully because of concourse issues and issues with egress. The Kop has those exact same concourse and egress issues. There's so much work to be done that I'd be surprised anyone would even bother.
  11. 3/4 of the ground need rebuilding, by that point it's probably best to just start fresh.
  12. The concourses are bad enough for us to not be able to use all of the seats in 3 stands.
  13. The triangle is pretty much condemned at this point so that will need to go as well
  14. 44000 went to a league one playoff final (possibly more in club Wembley etc), and there were at least another 12k waiting in the queue to get a ticket, and could very well have been more. The fanbase absolutely does exist. At least 56k people wanted to attend a third division final all the way in London, do people really believe these same people wouldn't attend Premier League matches?
  15. I think a lot of people are either misinformed or delusional. It's not just the Lep and the cheese wedge that need tearing down. Currently both the North and the Kop cannot be fully utilised due to concourse issues, on top of the issues with the North stands structural integrity, ideally the North would need to be rebuilt. To stay at Hillsborough we'd need: Lep and NW corner demolished and replaced North stand replaced with modern concourse spacing Major changes to the Kop concourse so it can be fully utilised If the Kop and the North can be fully utilised again, fill in the corners of the Kop By the time you've done all this, it might just be easier to relocate tbh.
  16. I remember we knocked him out when we put 6 past Leeds back in 2014
  17. They should but don't think it's allowed to hold 2300 anymore
  18. It did look great, but it'd probably need adjustments now that we know the Kop and the North have issues with capacity utilisation and the north having serious structural issues
  19. The Lep needs to be a single tier and allow for it to be modular so it can host both home and away supporters, like most grounds
  20. Agreed, unless they can find a way to upgrade the ground significantly, but that will require ripping down and replacing the Lep, the cheese wedge, the north stand and significant upgrades to the Kop concourse to allow for it to be fully utilised again.
  21. Please consider serious plans to relocate to a new ground. I was once very firmly in the camp of staying at Hillsborough and redeveloping it, but now I'm at a point where I think the ground has way too much bad juju and we'd be better off relocating to a new purpose built modern stadium ground.
  22. The staff deserve a bonus after how a certain clown treated them.
  23. First boxing day match at home in 10 years, that should be a big boost for the club too!
  24. Football crowds were down massively in the 80's and 90's across the country, people talking about our 90's attendance always seem to miss this out. In 92 we averaged 29,578 which was the 4th highest in the country!
  25. It's also about perspective: 2 wins at home for the entirety of 2025 Lost 16 players (or is it 17?) at Summer Points deduction In admin Bottom of the league, almost certain to go down (yet again) Mid week night match that's televised and on Bonfire night Out of the top flight for 25 years There are very few that would get 28k under these circumstances, Pigs definitely wouldn't.
