Early Bird Season Tickets - not permitted?
room0035 replied to Rotherham Owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Would the credit card company cover for stupidity, if you knowingly buy a season ticket with a good chance of there being no club. its like buying something that you suspect to be a fraud, would your credit card cover it under the section 75 - I am not sure. -
Early Bird Season Tickets - not permitted?

I though the issue was due to the finance options not being available and every one ended up having to pay with paypal or cash? There should be 3 stages, 1). April time at current prices. 2). End of season phase 2 with say a 5% uplift. 3). Preseason phase 3 with another 5% uplift. -
Lack of basic facilities, lack of preseason match practice, lack of preseason fitness work, lack of playing squad, take your pick and I suspect there many more!

Just 1 day without any bad news thats all I ask!

That make 10 for the season, more than the points of both Sheffield Clubs.

But here lies the problem the EFL pass or change laws based on 24 chairman. The laws should be passed or fail based on the customers the fans not the chairman who want a closed shop cartel. its time to change and that time is now.

The EFL is a watered down version on the EPL. 18 months ago they charged Man City where is the outcome, the fines, the points deductions, the removal of titles gained with unfair advantage. Nothing the EFL needs to stop hiding behind their rules and govern the league. A yearly fit and proper test for all club owner performed before the season starts. If chairman repeatedly break the rules, they are made unfit of 3-5 years and unable to own football league teams. finance of teams is clearly visible for all fans of that team. The EFL should have the power to remove unfit chairman from the league thus forcing a club sale.

Trust Call For Full Boycott Against Middlesbrough

I really hope all fans understand the importance of this, its a show of solidarity that as 1 fan base 'Enough is enough'. But if 5-10,000 Owls fans still turn up then we will know that they clearly don't have the stomach for it. The game is live on tv, they won't miss it only the location will have changed. As for Early birds anyone buying them, should be named and shamed. This is not fan vs fan this is people more bothered with saving a few quid than SWFC existence, as a football club. Chansiri cannot be allowed to stay using fan money to fund everything, as will happen if any Early birds are purchased. -
Only option now is players refusing to play

Just one article, i would suggest you google running on the pitch before you give it a go. https://thefsa.org.uk/news/pitch-invasions-and-pyro-what-does-the-law-say/ -
Very sad news I just heard, a real football man who did so much good for a lot of teams. Xbana Milan RIP

Taking your nephew to a wednesday game, I am going to assume you dont like him very much. For the £40-50 it cost you, you could have gone to a whole host of better events, on offer for a young kid on his birthday that he would have remember and enjoyed, instead to took him to a game that 99% of knew we would lose and probably get battered and its weeing it down with rain. i get passing on your love of the game and the team, but theres a time and a place and today was not it.

Is it just me who thinking plastic pigs would be a tremendous protest when we play the blades. -

Or maybe people did want a criminal record, because for many in a professional career that mean the loss of their career. You are asking a lot to protest against someone who no one seen for 6 months. There are better ways than running onto the pitch, falling over then getting arrested. -

Who was that tail on the commentary today sounded like the Brentford manager, talking about passion and commitment with a team who had not been paid playing for free, a team of kids playing their third game in 8 days, many of which have not made 10 senior appearances. Sky really do have some, complete idiot fools working for them. -
Big shout out to all those fans that need to go to the game to support the lads I believe the excuse was, then when the lads are losing and need your support you leave. Do yourself a favour stop going, we are going to be losing virtually every game at home this season.

The best thing to come out of this horrific situation
room0035 replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
For me its simple for the first time in 10 years we have given youth players game time. Charles got games last season but at that point we were playing for nothing but pride. I think he will come back stronger too when he's fit. but this season Weaver look a real find mature beyond his years and Brown has something that goal against Birmingham was a strikers goal a 1 yard pouncher goal it shows to me he read the game. I am hoping 1 or 2 more might cement a place and show hopefully a bright future for the club but also that our youth team is a lot better than we have been told for many years, view as a resource drain by Chansiri instead of a potential talent gold mine. -
Factor in family and friends of the first team, and youngsters getting a first team chance, apparently there is also a lot of scouts turning up to watch Weaver who is out of contract in the summer though has the year extension joke, than channer does on everything. i would say maybe 500 severe unhinged people to pay £40+ quid to watch a game on sky, that they could watch in a warm pub with a beer. Its set to be a stinker for weather tomorrow apparently too.

I think it live on sky 404 not sure if its reduce coverage but you dont have to go interactive to get it.

Didn't David Kogan also. work for the Premier League for well over 10 years. This is the problem with most of the government regulator their staff either leave to work for the companies they were meant to be regulating or they used to work for them. i would rather have a independent football person in charge.

I can only think those buying are Coventry fans expecting to see us get pasted or Barnsley fans
