Years ago I was driving some quiet road in the Cariboo area south of Prince George in British Columbia. Not much traffic on the roads. My car had a custom plate of "SWFC". I become aware of a car behind me for a while, he reaches a good place to pass, pulls out and comes level with me and starts honking his horn. I look across, the passenger is giving the thumbs up and holding a hand written sign saying " Up the owls". Then speeds off up the road never to be seen again. Been in Vancouver 20+ years, know of about a dozen owls but only ever met one blunt in that time.

Feels like we've turned the corner finally -fingers crossed. Sad to see COG go out but very happy that Helan is back. Funny thing is Robson going to the Blunts. He was here in Vancouver with the Whitecaps at the end of last MLS season. During that time he became very unpopular with both fans and his teammates through basically being an arrogant one-footed wee pipe. He and the Blunts deserve each other. That said hell probably do the job in Div 3 for them. Saturdays kick off is at 7am here. Follow on Player or Twitter. Coming over for the Forest and Watford games- cant wait.

I'm a Season Ticket holder at the Whitecaps. It's fair to say he's not fit in well as one of our "Designated Players" and is the subject of quite a bit of resentment amongst the fans since he's being paid over the average but performing below average. To be fair he's not had good service since the Caps have some issues in midfield. It wouldn't surprise me if the Caps wanted to unload him but I'm not sure hes the player we (SWFC) need up front

Agree, very professional dive by Donovan, and Bonjour doesn't help himself by being all arms. But in reality the penalty was given because of the first half dive he did then all the half-time lobbying by Beckham, Keano & Donovan. I'm very interested to see how Richards does at Burnley, he has a lot of "off" games but his speed is great when he decides to use it. I wonder if he even visited Burnley before signing ? he's in for a culture shock!
