DC can find money when he wants
runningaround replied to SheffWed's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Agree and his son, as he proclaimed to leave the club to maybe the next legal owner, which needs time for the due diligence process, whether a stalling tactic or smokescreen or not, to get to Jan - all speculation and all a mess for us fans -
Message from Coventry City fans

Most decent Cov fans and the prediction channel Matt SB regularly cite like and support our plight, as been there themselves. Fair play for those who clapped at the invasion and protest. -
We may be on our arse but at least we're not Blades
runningaround replied to Pablo Bonvin's topic in General Football Chat
The irony of it, and I even thought Wilder back results, at least come in points, and some wins, at this moment seem to be all over the shop, big moments. They have to admit, as fans, it's consolidation this time at best. 1 in 4 aint groundbreaking. -
Sheffield Wednesday vs Birmingham omdt
runningaround replied to Maddogbob's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Outstanding to a man - their leveller has questions with 2 players on our goalie build up to the throw which led to it. Bittersweet - would have snatched a draw before without doubt. Well done staff and players. -
So impressive again today - got a knock - some player he is promising to be. A shining light in the situation.

Sheffield Wednesday vs QPR OMDT
runningaround replied to Maddogbob's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
felt we battled well and survived the first 15 mins 2nd half. Good performance, but agree (and understandable) lack of real goal threat -
Rob Staton on the current state of SWFC
runningaround replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Whilst factually maybe right, I doubt they will - it's seen as a huge issue if we go from EFL, especially as a Champ side. DC really though has us in deep waters no doubt - agree. -
What's your thoughts on Dave's opinion here?

Paul Parker made an interesting point today on TS - athletes 1st coach the football. Whilst it's a bit over the top can sense why you think he has a point. -
How Many Tickets Left v Stoke?
runningaround replied to BIG D's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
It is, and living abroad only way can see it - most of the games need a VPN, and the research is not worth the cash - certainly last and this season. Even without Chancer its a very poor product since the split kick off times. -
This isn't about Dejphon Chansiri

superb article and highlights the fighting from staff, players and coaches. I am sure we didnt expect this start in the circumstances -
I think Danny is top drawer tbh - it's a case of waiting for an opening, say Champ or Germany - people can forget the superb survival. Wish him well.

First two games - showed fight but agree it would surpass Danny miracle and maybe best achievement in our modern history to get 21st. -
I disbelieve the findings - they did a great job here - something was always off, a player in demand can't go, etc
-
kinda jealous - live in Shenzhen, no access to away or 3rd and know/use local apps - fair play if you have them guys.

great news - hope Valery can stay too. Need all the help we can get right now.

didnt the analysts say his red just means Bolton out of and back for Stoke in the league? Correct me if wrong here.
-
Nice comment - we noticed the solidarity too - best of luck for the season ahead!
-
for sure not much more he could do, Chalobah injury hurt the plan sadly but 1st half no way in. Excellent set up away 1st half.

Who leaves before the next game?
runningaround replied to Spondon Owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Nixon said 8m for Charles - would be daft really for him and us to do that. I would prefer to keep all, though, on board we are threadbare as it is. -
outstanding, and fair play to the Leicester fans backing our protest - shown some class there.
-
Charles and Max Lowe also outstanding today - they had to change shape and empty bench to win it. Proud of the fight!

In layman's terms, it means to sell those assets (shares) on behalf of the owner - a higher power can look to sell a chosen % them on behalf of a value they deem reasonable and achievable, but, in practice, as seen with Reading, that can only mean threats, club sanctions, and increasing media/fan/EFL pressure. It is strong wording from the EFL for sure, and we must hope it has the desired effect.
