  1. I believe he enjoyed his Sunday lunchtime stroll.
  2. Din't know that Anton danced like an Egyptian.
  3. Yet there are pages of responses you amongst them.
  4. Quite so. I have been saddened by many of the "holier than thou" responses to my op.
  5. This post is meant to illustrate the failings of our former owner.
  6. It is embarrassing. Mind you the way that Sky money is distributed works against clubs with higher on costs. I'm of the opinion that Sky money should be based on the supporter base. After all the bigger the supporter base the more Sky subscriptions are purchased.
  7. We are likely to be replaced by Stockport County or Lincoln City. The shame is complete. Sorry Stockport and Lincoln fans.
  8. When you get to my age you need lessons on "How to stop dribbling".
  9. Its telling that Southampton knew that they could safely introduce a 16 year old debutant in the 46th minute (before they scored their 3rd goal) and rest a more senior player.
  10. What do you mean? That's all he does - walk.
  11. What a novel idea. It sounds just like cash, exact payments only, no change given. What's wrong with £5 notes. Yeah, I know, the tokens are worthless and the money is in the bank.
  12. So did I, I hope he enjoyed his walk around the pitch.
  13. Just for clarity, the old badge that has now been reintroduced is n fact the new badge. The new badge that Chansiri introduced was the old badge. So we are now reverting to the new badge, and I couldn't be happier.
  14. Goodnight John boy.
  15. The position at Sheffield Wednesday is no clearer.
  16. Why is most of the cosmos a vacuum then?
  17. It's been a horrendous closed season with hourly bad news, driven to some degree by AI regurgitating the same stuff in ever increasing shades of gloom. Today though there is the reality of a live match that will tell us whether all hope is dead or not. I've got my pitch behind the sofa all ready, with plenty of cushions to hold in front of my eyes when things get ugly. Whilst I know that we will, as always when things are bad, perform as predicted, there is this glimmer of hope in my brain, that thinks that all that has happened is going to improve things. I know, stupid right. When can I come out from behind the sofa?

  19. Is Chansiri going to do a Marc White Oh!! I thought it was going to be a Fred about a new restaurant.
  20. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/piant
  21. I, reluctantly, was at Bramall Lane when a dog ran on the pitch. Blades supporters cheered its every move evading the coppers. The biggest cheer was when the copper lost his helmet ( no helmet jokes). It was the most exciting thing to happen at the lane in the 1960s.
  22. I heard Peter Crouch was on the tall list until he Crouched.
  23. Long long before then, and long before Nelson or Napoleon, although in his case he knew it in French. Military men from long ago knew this. It's like Cantona likening journos to the seagulls that follow the trawler. He was translating kindly from the French equivalent for the British sailors name for seagulls, sh*tehawks. In other words he was saying journos are sh*tehawks.
  24. I made this point weeks ago but was informed that the EFL pays monthly to avoid this danger.
