  1. I’m getting ‘this area is locked’ for all the areas on the map thing
  2. Glad they’ve made an apology, but saying you don’t condone racism and then condoning it in the same tweet is pretty appalling.
  3. Anyone know if this from WTID actually happened (since deleted apparently)? As in, did they actually tweet it? I’m shocked by them tbh
  4. My big concern today was that the team seemed like they hadn't had any instructions. It really wasn't clear what kind of tactics/style we were trying to play - hence, total lack of creativity and a lot of long ball football up to Gregory. The only moments of threat were from (very) brief good wing play, one or two good balls from Bannan when he dropped deeper and Paterson's throws... I would be less worried if we'd lost but looked like we were trying something new or different. Today just felt like we weren't really trying anything at all - a random collection of players with no instructions.
  5. As ever Paterson is a very useful squad player, but I would hope he isn't our starting RB, particularly in a 4. Famewo has something (LCB surely his best position), but not as a LB in this league. Bakinson was better than I thought he'd be - hope/think he won't be near the team in a few weeks. The team structure looked a bit messy and I think we have to accept it will take a while for the players to get used to this new system.
  6. Spot on call from Chris, and it's (strange though it seems) a really good thing that higher profile fans, ex-players etc are calling out the Chairman. We need this sort of thing to happen for any groundswell of a campaign against his ownership to take off. The competition with a) watching on TV and b) going to Bramall Lane instead (for children/new arrivals in the city etc) surely has to be part of any sound business strategy (short and long term). Growing up in Sheffield, I chose to support Sheffield Wednesday at the age of 5 because I used to look in my parents newspaper and saw that we were in the Premier League and doing well. Both my parents were from elsewhere and neither liked football, so I didn't have those family ties/obligations. A glory supporter in a way. Pricing out families in this way is such awful business sense it's astounding.
  7. Moore asking for 4 x salary would be mad and feels out of character, but I assume Chansiri wouldn’t write something libellous…so can assume it’s true unless we hear otherwise. Chansiri writing this rambling and badly edited account of what happened is like a soap opera and doesn’t exactly paint a picture of an appealing or well run club to a prospective manager or players. Surely a short statement explaining what happened would have sufficed (if anything at all).
  8. This is obviously a much better idea than doing a fans forum, where he goes off script and/or things get lost in translation. However, we still don't really have an answer as to why the manager left so suddenly, without anyone lined up. Given how often he's failed to make a good managerial appointment, I don't really have any faith or reassurance that he knows what he's doing. The season ticket sales thing is just baffling and makes him look completely unserious.
  9. Within the squad we have the technical quality to score 4/5 goals, but as others have said we will concede against Peterborough's attack...and the players clearly don't have the motivation/drive to do it. And we don't have a manager capable of motivating them or thinking of anything remotely creative tactically to do it.
  10. I’ve never seen Johnson play worse. But…Peterborough look rubbish and we will get more chances tonight
  11. Feels like we obviously aren’t going to get promoted with Moore, so we may as well make a change. Not sure about anyone being available who we’d want to bring in long term at this point? But who knows. weirdly feels like the lowest risk option to sack him.
  12. Hate to do this as it's all to play for, but...any predictions as to what dates these will be?
  13. I'd like to see us move to 4-4-2 and play: Dawson; Palmer, Flint, Famewo, James; Wilks, Vaulks, Bannan, Johnson; Gregory, Smith.
  14. I like James a lot and don't blame Moore for trying him there, but it clearly didn't work. He looked panicky on the ball and consistently out of position.
