Disappointing, but I can’t say that I blame anyone who just walks away Good luck Andy, all the best I wonder if others might now follow him and decide that enough is enough
-
Clearly offside - but not exactly a game changer was it ? Coventry were strolling by then anyway
-
Sad news indeed. RIP Milan
-
The problem is it’s either one or the other - but some people are boycotting, some are invading the pitch. Until we can come together as a fan base and act as one voice, we’re wasting time and effort and achieving very little
-
You’re not wrong - but who would you pick instead ?
-
In fairness, the 2nd goal was a quality finish from a player in form
-
Offside - but does it matter really ?
-
Remember the song - There’s nobody better than Steven Fletcher, not even Kun Aguero
-
Desperately disappointing at the end, but proud of the team and the performance.
-
Yes, really hope so -it’s time to bring matters to a head, this nonsense has gone on too long. What are the EFL doing about things - not a lot it seems ?
-
Like most people on here, I wish he was still our player - he will never be forgotten for his winning goal at Wembley against Barnsley, and also his spectacular long range goal from his own half against Derby
-
Can’t see us getting any sort of result at Pompey tomorrow - I’ve got a lot of time for Pederson, but he just hasnt got the tools of the trade at his disposal- ie players - to get us out of this hole

Sheffield Wednesday u15's vs Grimsby OMDT
Kew Owl replied to Maddogbob's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Yes, that’s true - but it’s hard not to feel some degree of sympathy for the youngsters who battled away tirelessly against Bolton, Leeds and again tonight. -
I love going to Dorset for holidays - Swanage, Lyme Regis etc- but there’s obviously people in the county worth avoiding !
-
I’m no fan of DC, but sometimes things just don’t work out as you expect or hope - signing Jordan Rhodes was one of these situations

Owls plight discussed at cabinet level !
Kew Owl replied to andypandy's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I hope you’re right - he really should have bailed out at the end of last season - he didn’t then, so, unfortunately, I’m really not convinced that he will do now -
Grimsby Game : SWFC Trust call for boycott
Kew Owl replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
It’s not a “me problem” at all - I’m usually fairly relaxed about things like this, but here, on this occasion, it looks noticeably odd to me as well. -
Letter to the King of Thailand
Kew Owl replied to 10 Pints of Smiths's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I think it’s a really good letter, very appropriately and respectfully worded. Being picky, I’d probably have liked to see specific mention in the letter of how, on several occasions, he has failed to fulfill his obligations and pay employees on time, which has caused them several financial hardship and distress. -
Pedersen is doing much better than expected in a difficult situation with limited players ( both in quantity and quality ) at his disposal. He deserves to be supported, not criticised in any way. Just in case anyone needs reminding, he is certainly not the problem at all - we all know who is
-
Yes, agreed - I’d just rather support the Defund Chansiri boycott and not travel to the ground and pay for ground admission, only to leave after a mere 10 minutes. That’s just not happening in my book
-
Yes, I’m inclined to agree - the protests at home games so far have been rather ineffectual and half hearted. Time to up the ante. Things really started moving at Reading when they invaded the pitch against Port Vale and got the game abandoned
-
Could the Players Strike to Support the Cause. ?
Kew Owl replied to bolton9owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
The time for striking and not playing was when they weren’t getting paid on time, so unless that starts to happen again, it’s difficult to see any real justification for doing it now -
If this is to be his last full season, it’s going to be a real shame that it ends in relegation and such a shambolic mess
-
He’s not great - but remember he came here at the last minute when we needed someone desperately - and beggars can’t be choosers. Perhaps his finest hour will for ever be the penalty shoot out saves against Leeds
