  1. It's taken years to get to this point. The legislation has been going through the commons a long time. Long before the current government were in charge
  2. The tories nominated him for the post
  3. Still 4 points ahead of the Xisco season but meh. Our tiny squad looked very tired. International break might help freshen things up
  4. I had thousands of followers. Spent a decade on there getting to know people and finding accounts there were interesting, informative or fun. It gradually went downhill over that decade, is now filled with bots, idiots, nazis and scum. Everything is monetised, the algorithm is just plain dangerous now. I deleted my account about 9 months ago and my mental health instantly improved
  5. Which is pretty odd considering the shortlist for the role that the tories drew up before this one also included Kogan as well
  6. Don't give them the advertising revenue. Scum rag and always will be
  7. I know it's probably one of Bannan, Lowe, Brown or Weaver but I gave my vote for Inglesson. I have no idea if the players see the votes and the distance that man has covered on the pitch and everything he brings to the team is really important so I want him to know he's not going unnoticed
  8. I had him down as my MoM last night. That goal saving tackle just before we went ahead was game changing
  9. Slight progress compared to Xisco but oh what could have been. Would have been one point off the white line if the ref could tell the time. Still I'm sure we'll get 11 minutes of injury time when we're chasing a late goal some time in future
  10. We should get a point at most but it's the championship so I fully expect us to win both
  11. Ten minutes of them having been shouted at at half time and us not quite matching them cost us a couple of points I think but an otherwise excellent performance. In a world with no points deductions and us having some players for the second half of the season we could do with a couple of wins soon to keep us well ahead of "miracle required" territory like we were under Röhl going into December
  12. He also had positive words and a calming gesture after Dom had misplaced a pass. Great to see, an old head on young shoulders
  13. He looked much brighter in the first few matches of the season and has clearly had a better preseason. The young lads are showing their worth at the moment though so he's down the pecking order. Never has a player needed a goal more than Ike Ugbo
  14. I hope the fans can remember that when the players legs are going and the niggles are adding up. They'll be shattered and it might look like they're not giving their all but there's been no sign of that so far.
  15. Two players short? Add Bernard and Chalobah back into the mix and we're sorted In all seriousness we are competing and with a couple to come back plus whatever happens between now and the end of January anything could happen. We're an injury from disaster in the middle of the park but we're not a million miles away. That was one of our best home performances since January I'd expect us to get points deductions for the not paying other clubs because that unfairly impacts them, same as the Blades got last year which is probably 3 or 4 times 2 points. I suspect the EFL are holding other points deductions over DC's head to say they are suspended if another owner comes in but if he's still here at the end of the January window they'll have to give us deductions for wages etc
