  1. DC has a long and glorious history of cutting his nose off to spite his face. Expect this to rumble on and on, and just hope he's letting Pedersen get on with things in the meantime.
  2. Ihiekwe was one of the illness crew so was unavailable. Was starting to establish himself a bit before he got injured. I think Danny will keep him around, and unless we sign a commanding CB will get plenty of minutes. Our top priority should be a proper leader at the back, closely followed by quality striker with real pace (ie a better version of Cadz…. backup plan: recall Cadz) Poveda type would be v helpful too, Gassama is showing signs of maturing but Pov just had that higher level of decision making in the final third. Ugbo fed off him so well. We don’t need loads, but they’ve got to be Shea Charles level of quality if we’re really going to push on this season.
  3. Heading to a big top tier club in his home country, back with his family, I don't think many would begrudge Danny that move. Southampton on the other hand... most likely would be back at S6 on the opposition bench next season, he'd get plenty of stick
  4. J Lowe will start up front as things stand I reckon Musaba into RW then Can see Ingelsson starting LW over Kobacki, tucked in But we’ve actually got decent options, happy days
  5. Oh I am thoroughly enjoying it
  6. Hoping all the bedwetters are ok. Thoughts and prayers
  7. Some reyt drama queens on here His contract has already expired, he’s not ‘leaving us’ he’s already left! And might still come back. That post could mean so many things, but it doesn’t categorically mean he’s 100% going to join a different club. Cracking player. If he joins someone else, thanks for the memories and we move on.
  8. Blue Stratos surely, chuck on about 1/2 pint at a time
  9. Is that hairdo the full Bobby Charlton??
  10. Just checked and I’m 2nd in the league as things stand
  11. trying to find some kind of results predictor and this grimsby forum came up trumps https://thefishy.co.uk/football-calculator.php picked realistic results for everyone still in the mix and it came up with this I had us with Stoke (W), Blackburn (D), West Brom (D), Sunderland (L) will come back to this when the season ends!
  12. DC comes across as thin-skinned, egotistical, weak. Just brush it off, rise above it and let the good vibes roll, you're announcing our new manager FFS! Muñoz comes across well, bit of a geezer & I think the players will like him
  13. Excellent blazing saddles reference, bravo sir!
  14. That’s not how rolling contracts work. It means you’ve always got a year left on your contract.
  15. If we maintain our current 2 points per game average, we will go up. I forget where this info came from but probably Peter Lohmann
  16. I really warmed to him after relegation, he was one of the main hopes to see a bit of talent on display in a desperately poor team to watch. His goal against the pigs was world class, and always ready with some superb sh!thousery too. Seems like a decent fella off the pitch
  17. Unbelievably lightweight, to the point of being next to useless. Made a great tackle just before coming off, best thing he did all day. Got zero change out of average opposition, Fizz then came on and ran roughshod over them...
  18. Don’t know why some are wringing their hands about how he’d fit into our usual 3-5-2 Moore loves a 4-3-3 and only changed that here when injuries forced his hand. It has worked out well but no way DM is married to 3-5-2. Mighten would help give us options to play a different system, and who knows maybe he could pan out nicely as an attacking wing back? In our home games we rarely need to do much defending. We want to win the league. Strength in depth and flexibility isn’t going to hurt. Sign him up!
  19. If he can defend crosses I couldn’t care less about his distribution skills tbf
  20. Got my refund this week, finally. It’s an absolute ******** take of loyal season ticket holders that this has taken so long, and still no one has a clue when it will be completed. The total lack of comms beyond a couple of vague club statements is what really grates thought. Just shows a total lack of respect for people who are the lifeblood of the club. Shut up and go away, you’ll get your money back one day… it’s only a few quid and we’ve been hard hit by the pandemic, new ticket system bla bla bla. Meanwhile the club is paying hundreds of grand a week in wages. There’s no way refunds should have taken this long, and no reason the club couldn’t have been communicating openly to those affected. Email is quick and cheap… there’s just been a total lack of will to do it. Chansiri likes to talk about family and being in it together, but actions speak louder than words. Very poor.
  21. Cheating I know but this had to be done
  22. Not heard a peep. As ‘valued’ season ticket holders you’d think a bit of communication beyond rambling official statements would be in order. Very poor.
