  1. It probably had better facilities to Hillsborough as well
  2. I wish they were pal. Awful performance
  3. Stood in the rain waiting for a beer for 45 minutes today while staff hand-poured Guinness out of one pump. The facilities on the Kop are an absolute disgrace and the sooner we move the better.
  4. Of course we are. Everyone of those are entitled to their opinion as well.
  5. The middle paragraph nails exactly what it is. Likely fans over 55 who like what they’ve always known and have little interest in what Wednesday looks like in 20-30 years time so long as they can walk to the ground via their local pub/chippy.
  6. Once too many. IMO the whole stadium “stay or go” debate is about people letting go of the past and thinking progressively rather than focusing on being able to walk to the ground via the pub inside 15 minutes.
  7. Id move to a new site that’s fit for purpose where flood precautions can be put in place.
  8. Football stadiums have moved on a bit since then. If the money for anything on a scale is available, I’m afraid to say there is zero chance of staying at the current site as it’s just not fit for purpose and also floods.
  9. Won’t look too bad with 750-800 stood up on LLL
  10. Doubt any of those could mate - all around 32000 max. Coventry is max 32,600 without segregation. Should be biggest Championship crowd of the season if it’s over 32,500.
  11. Cheers Big D. Looks like it’ll be very close to a sell out
  12. 100% agree. Maybe find a way to make the bottom half of the NW corner usable again with an additional 500 seats. Failing that just stick away supports at that end of the North Stand and allow them to utilize the Leppings Lane entrance.
  13. Looks fab… so doesn’t that extra space around the ground. Unfortunately the site at Hillsborough is no longer fit for purpose in the modern era. Hopefully the new owners can find a new site and drag this club into the 21st century
  14. I agree… just frustrating. They need to get a move on and extend it out to Oughtibridge & Stocksbridge anyway
  15. So the main mass-transport system in the city (that barely covers any of the city anyhow) won’t be providing mass transport for the largest attended sporting event of the calendar year…?
  16. Cooper in L1 should be excellent
  17. Some folk just need to chill out a bit.
  18. Can't be far off 33,500 tickets on sale (minus 300 or so we sold in the North last year). If so, puts the current sales around the 32,000 mark
  19. If we weren’t bottom of the league without a home win in a millennia, certs for relegation and playing with a mid-table league one squad I believe they would have
  20. Particularly when the current stadium is surrounded by the stigma of a tragic event and requires an almost an entire rebuild from the ground up.
