  1. Very frustrating, isn't it? They're trying, but the lack of game intelligence is glaring.
  2. If that challenge from Iorfa is a yellow, then the one from behind on Amass simply had to be as well. No consistency.
  3. A classic of the genre.
  4. My dad has always said similar about the two fanbases. When we went into that Wycombe game all those years ago, it was a party atmosphere and it felt like there was no doubt we'd get the job done. In the same circumstances, United fans would be waiting for it all to go wrong. I do think we've got far more eternal optimists among our number than they have. Just look at the way we've drawn up plans for a new stadium on here since the club was put into administration, for starters...
  5. That's true. And hopefully our eventual owners will be off the calibre to revert why talk of disappointment irrelevant. But I'd find it very hard to believe that if the Waltons were in for us, they wouldn't get us.
  6. Now that really would be a tragedy.
  7. Yeah, I think this is part of the potential issue, here. If it turns out the Waltons aren't involved, then those among the fanbase who've lied to and misled their fellow fans really should take a long, hard look at themselves. Because all they will have achieved will be to have created a sense of disappointment around whoever the new owners end up being. I suppose we'll know one way or another in a couple of weeks...
  8. You've not watched many of our matches this season, then?
  9. He clearly gets fed some stuff from inside the club, but his hit rate has fallen off a cliff now that he's moved on from team news / transfers and has started trying to call the takeover / administration stuff. Fair play to him if the Waltons thing comes off after pitting himself against the RS journalists, though...
  10. How do you know what they've been told? "Contrary to online speculation, that meeting was not with the Waltons" could well suggest that they've been told that by somebody, no?
  11. If they're aware of the fact that half the story they're about to tweet about has leaked but with some additional information which they don't believe to be true, then it makes sense to clarify that. It does all seem a bit odd, though, doesn't it!
  12. Well, I suppose if they just put out the part about the contact with the council, that would raise fans' hopes after what @thebizzle posted. If they've also been told that it wasn't the Waltons, they probably feel it's their duty to report that, as well?
  13. This just gets weirder and weirder. So the rumours of a meeting with the council are accurate, but the names linked to the meeting aren't? I can't wait until a preferred bidder is announced and all this 'ITK' stuff can be left behind.
  14. It's just brain rot. Even plenty of the kids who say it find it annoying.
  15. Sorry to do this to you, but as someone who works in a school, I don't see why I should suffer alone...
  16. Fletcher stood up to Chansiri like many others have done since. The last few seasons of his career were probably all the better for it.
  17. I mean...that is the obvious question, right? I don't get it.
