Let's Get The Scrubbers Of S2 Sold Out!
Cowle70 replied to BIG D's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
WBA are boycotting due to the rip off prices. -
Maybe but the original message said Birmingham. Would we count Rotherham in the population of Sheffield?
-
Totally agree, we are one thing they never be, which is we are the biggest club in the region.
-
Parts of the Peak District are within the Sheffield boundary.
-
West Brom in Birmingham! You wouldn't be very popular saying that.
-
Just one question who are 2 bigger clubs?
-
Since moving i have to say seeing someone wearing a Blues shirt is very very rare. Much more likely to see WBA Wolves fans.
-
2 million? It's nearer 1.1.
-
It didn't help that NCPM was SH*T!
-
Where have you seen this?
-
If it's a choice of someone with the money and ambition to be challenging for a place in the Premier league in 2 to 3 years or an owner who is worried about the HMRC and getting out of League 1, I'll take the ambitious one every time.
-
That was my thinking too. Imo anyone who thinks a club with our support and potential may find it difficult to get out of League 1 can fizz right off!

Disagree "A mood of great optimism" we are bottom of the league and won one home match in 2025. Of course we are more positive that we have been for years, but do you really think we couldn't attract 10,000 of the 20000 that went to Wembley against Barnsley if we were playing Liverpool, Man U/ City, Arsenal Spurs Newcastle etc. and don't forget the guaranteed sell out away end in the Premier league. -

Absolutely, this is why the pricing for next season is so important. If we have a season like Birmingham had last season we could get those fans back. -

I think we must remember our situation. The team for all their effort are likely to lose and some people just don't want to be there if we get a heavy beating. We all know we'd sell out easily if weren't on minus 4 points and without a home win in living memory. -

Totally agree, my worry he has damaged us beyond repair and we will never compete at the upper level again I think it will take a very ambitious new owners with very very deep pockets to take us back to the times I was lucky enough to experience. -
Isn't that what they did at Anfield?
