It depends on the buying club i guess and if they have the money to pay more upfront. If Utd offered £2.5 million paid as a normal transfer would be, but Mansfield offered £2 million majority paid up front i guess we'd take the Mansfield offer.

I think United were hit with a 3 window transfer ban originally but negotiated it down to a 2 point deduction which couldn't be appealed. God knows what it means for us because we already have the 3 window ban.

One slight problem with that. United would have to agree to it, don’t think it being our original ground would carry any weight at all. Just cannot see United ever agreeing to it, just not worth the hassle for them.

I would image it would be equally unpalatable for United Fans. So I think that would be a total non starter.
