Only pub I’ve ever been in where you actually form one queue to the bar as opposed to just jostling around 2/3 deep to get served. Worked to be fair. Was a matchday so not sure if it’s always been like that

Just get a load pre-poured. Honestly, I’m so picky in a pub if the beer’s not right/ in the wrong glass etc, but at footy you’re more or less downing it and going back into the stand. Who cares if it’s been stood a couple of minutes before you get it.

I know mate. Didn’t really want to buy the kit, but when you pick up a hoodie thats £55 or something like, I just thought sod it get the kit. I always walk out of that shop wondering what could be. Aside from the replica stuff and training gear the rest of the products on offer are atrocious and over priced. They could consense the shop down to about a living room sized space with the stuff that’s actually worth buying. Hey ho, hopefully that gets sorted soon

Just popped down to shop, about 50 people in I’d guess. A few queuing for tickets. Bought the lad the away kit £62 for a 3 year old. Next owners need to look at shirt prices, easiest win on the planet

I think you need to look at it in broader terms mate. When Neil announced the fundraiser I did think momentarily about why we were donating towards hotel costs, but when you think about it, it’s going towards the running of the club. It’s what all clubs do day to day, week to week. In our case, money is that tight it may not have been possible. I think it’s great that we, the fans, can contribute in such a positive way. Hopefully we are on our way to being a normal football club again!
