  1. Another very poor display. Not as good as Dawson, not sure why he was in the team today after recent performances.
  2. Murphy is the only loan player we should be looking at re-signing next season, as long as we are in the Championship. Best player in the squad by a distance.
  3. For me Dawson is the better keeper, Wildsmith has been poor and similar to his last stint is beaten too easily. Unfortunately with Westwood hanging around they are forever in his shadow and people will always look for ways to criticise whoever is in net instead. Will be best for both if they move on and get some confidence elsewhere, which is a shame as I think Dawson has the potential to be a decent no. 1 here.
  4. London Bridge is probably the best place to drink as the ground is only around 5-10 mins away on the train from there and there are loads of pubs around. We've been in the Market Porter the past few games but there's a lot of choice.
  5. Had an average game with a few glimpses of the class we know he has. Will definitely get better with games, will hopefully only take 5 or 6 before we can see him getting back towards his past form.
  6. A player I've always liked when I've seen him play, looks like it will be an interesting summer.
  7. 1 year for a 34 year old with injury issues sounds about right to me
  8. If they offered half that I’d snap their hands off
  9. Haven’t seen much of him this season but if he can get anywhere near the level he was prior to his injury he’ll be a steal on a free. Reading the comments on Brentford’s release tweet pretty much all are unhappy that he’s been released which can’t be a bad sign.
  10. To be fair we should have been more aware tactically, they were looking for that ball all first half, with their no. 10 peeling off to Palmer looking for the knockdown to Adams from a diagonal long ball. The first time they attempted it in the second half it worked.
  11. This. I don't think many keepers would have saved the second based on the proximity and shot power.
  12. 100% should be getting him in the building tomorrow, give him a few training sessions to get as prepared as we can hope for and play for the draw.
  13. Think we'll be heading to the Sindercombe, did Brewdog last season which was OK
  14. People are forgetting some of the absolute shockers Wildsmith had last season, he made the second most errors leading to a goal for the entire of last season and barely played half the games. He isn’t the answer!
  15. It is this season. We’re clearly stuck with what we have so instead of getting on players backs and making them even less motivated to play for us, how about we don’t? It it was clear from minute 1 fans were waiting to get on his back, as soon as he made 1 tiny mistake you could hear the abuse.
  16. Dawson 6 Baker 7 Pudil 6 Hutch 7 Lees 6 Fox 4 Pelupessy 5 Bannan 6 Reach 6 Forestieri 8 Fletcher 5 Thorniley 7 Matias 6
  17. Player plays 1 game this season, has a bad game, gets ridiculously abused and ironically cheered when subbed. Yep, sounds about right at Wednesday.
  18. He was poor today but some of the abuse he’s getting is shocking. He was injured before “that” pass which may just have contributed. I agree he’s not great and shouldn’t be a first choice but he’s not bad as back up, unfortunately another case of being the latest scapegoat.
  19. Dawson hasn’t set a foot wrong since the end of last season when he was number 1. Find it baffling how many people are baying for blood because Westwood has been left out, he’s past his best and on a high wage it would be best for all if he moved on, we’ve got 2 talented young keepers to get behind now.
  20. I think you’re pretty bob on with those 2 teams. If it were me I wouldn’t play Hutchinson and Pelupessy together provided we had a competent midfield replacement (Hunt perhaps if we’re promoting youth), I’d drop Hutchinson in the defence at RCB and move the other 2 along at the expense of Pudil. edit: forgot about Reach who could fill in at CM although still think he would be better at LWB.
  21. We’re going in The George at London Bridge, as above easy to get a quick train to the ground from there
  22. Strange he was always so stuck in his 4-4-2 ways but is already playing 3-5-2 at Swansea...
  23. Walkabout usually plays Wednesday matches on the big screen.
  24. Just read this regarding Norwich... City have failed to win at Carrow Road in seven Championship home games, ahead of Sheffield Wednesday’s visit on Saturday evening Sounds about right that we should be playing them now then.
  25. Not sure what Fletcher did in his atrocious cameo on Wednesday to convince CC he deserved a start...
