Proud to see the empty seats. That's what it has come to. We will get him out of our club. Momentum is building. The football world is taking notice. Beyond that even; we've been discussed on the news and in the actual cabinet. Enough is enough Dejphon, go now!

Sheffield Wednesday vs Leeds OMDT

Hahaha get in! -
I do give a throw what chansiri thinks, because if he thinks the pressure is intolerable and he needs to sell up then we won't need to wait for the regulator to step in. I just think having to face a room full of angry supporters might have brought more pressure on him than a boycott. I appreciate the view that the collapse of engagement panels may well bring more attention from the regulator and the EFL and pressure them into action. Also a fair point mate.

Again, you've missed the point. Don't trust a word he says. It's not about getting answers or listening to him. Attending the meeting would be an opportunity to express anger and demand he sells the club. That demand has been made at protests, at matches, with boycotts, online, in radio phone-ins and on TV interviews but this would be an opportunity to get face to face with DC or his representative and say 'get out now'. It would be another vehicle to protest. Would that force him out? No Will not attending force him out? No I really don't want to get entrenched in a position here. I'm not even certain attending would be the best option. I'm not unhappy that they are boycotting the panel. I'm just asking the question as to which route would be more impactful - a kind of debate, you know like fans forums should have. You do tend to try to shut down debate sometimes in my experience.

The Defund Dejphon Totaliser
EveryWednesday replied to sibon's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
We would ordinarily have bought so far; - membership at £50 - Stoke ticket x3 at £90 - Leeds tickets x2 at £30 -at least 5 pints at £20 - food in the ground for all of us at around another £20 - two of us usually buy shirts so that would've been £140 So my family have deprived DC of around £350 give or take -
The only thing is that it would have been forum for adding pressure to DC. I would have liked the panel to ask straight up if DC is still trying to sell, if he ever was, and if he is willing to sell for a reasonable price etc. Do we think this will send clearer message to DC and do we think he will be bothered by their non-attendance? Asking for the panel to be independently administered by the FSA us a good move though and shows the club to be unreasonable by not at least having FSA representation, almost like a mediator. We know there was a big row over the minutes and their authenticity last time.

If we don't get new owners with financial stability soon I think we can worry about playing Chesterfield and Doncaster Rovers the season after that tbh. Unless they leapfrog us

Why would you think this to be the case? Chansiri will never be able to show his face in Sheffield again, such is the level of anger. Where are the imaginary chansiri supporters? Have you met one? Where are they on here? Have any come to debate and give a favourable view of chansiri? I just don't know where this is coming from. Chansiri is loathed by 99.9pc of Wednesdayites But some people need to have a go at other Owls supporters, real or imaginary

Also, what exactly are people saying other clubs have done? Leicester fans held a banner Wrexham fans are wearing their away shirt It's appreciated, very much so, but let's not compare it to the thousands who are sacrificing their time with family and weekend social enjoyment, giving up decades of following Wednesday week in week out, those who have bought the new shirt every year for their kids but not this year, giving up that chat over a pint at HT, giving out leaflets outside the ground, holding them up in the ground, the Leicester protest, the stoke protest, the Leeds boycott All of it in order to support the cause.

It's just ridiculous now, just because a few thousand have bought tickets to the Leeds game means other clubs have done more? Get a grip. You're acting like nothings happening! As I said in another thread; I think we are actually seeing quite effective mobilisation. 8,000 down so far on last year's average at home. Even if a few thousand turn up to Leeds game, that would usually be around 20,000 home fans I'd expect. Clearly ticket sales are hugely down. You will never get zero. Sales in the ground look sparse. Shirt sales anecdotally should be well down too. He will be losing millions. Don't get why people are getting angry. As I say, you can never get to zero and people have their reasons but despite this there is still an impact. The longer and stronger the protesting voices become, the more the movement grows. - let me ask you this; what exactly do you expect to happen? If it's total boycott, that's unrealistic. The impact of the campaigning so far has been positive. Stop pretending people are being apathetic - there was a huge protest at Leicester that was really successful! Vast vast majority stayed out of the ground to make the point. Protests at Stoke at home and crowds hugely down - don't tell me 8,000 fans staying away is nothing. Stay positive

Stay positive. I'm saying this as a fan who has not been home or away yet and I don't plan to. Despite my brother visiting from America, which is rare, we haven't been to the match, which would usually be the highlight of a visit. I'm disappointed that people are still buying tickets but actually I've been impressed with the impact so far.- 143 replies

New Ticket Price & Revenue Strategy
EveryWednesday replied to owls101's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
So, to spend 48 of the King's, you'd need to buy about 7 pints and two pies? Or maybe 6 pints, two pies, a snickers and a programme? What else can you actually buy in the ground? There's betting outlets, the half time draw, obviously other forms of food etc Maybe Germans do sink em in the ground, but I'm not sure €60 spend in the ground per person. Though, I haven't been to a match in Germany. -

I took it to mean the 'three generations attending together' previously mentioned. So let's assume they're all adults, spend of €60 per person. So about £48? So yeah, that's probably 4 pints and a pie at Hillsborough. Or maybe three pies and two pints if you're so inclined. -

Pol was one of my favourite players last season. Through some pretty dire times, seeing him bombing past on the wing was something to cheer
