Wednesday Coventry OMDT

What a shambles… -
Baz stands out, as do Ingelsson, Weaver and Brown. Palmer has too much responsibility and was often left 2 on 1 but he also did well. I worry about Cadamarteri as a striker…he isn’t in there where it counts at important moments. Look at Brown’s goal…Cads had hardly set off, he wouldn’t be anywhere near it. I don’t see any hunger to step up.

A team of amateurs taking on a massive investment team away at Birmingham and with a bit of luck we could have held on for a win!! -

Good game. Fair result. Ref was ok. -
Ok, here's how it works... Ultimately, each element (owner, club, lender, league) is tied together by a web of contract law, insolvency law, and football governance. It is by no means simple to separate one from the other. For the owner of the asset to take out a loan, a security must be registered as a mortgage. The asset is valued, and money is lent against the value, leaving enough headroom for the lender to recover their money in the event of default. The interest cannot be simply rolled into additional debt unless there is sufficient value in the asset to cover the increase. If there isn't sufficient value, then other assets are used to secure the increase in the loan. This can be another building, a pension fund, players' values or the club itself. If an owner takes a secured loan on the stadium, then fails to repay interest or capitalises debt into a growing liability, then the lender can enforce its rights under the legal charge. This could lead to the sale of the stadium, administration of the club, or loss of league status. In the case of SWFC, if the loan is not serviced, a default occurs when: Interest is unpaid Covenants are breached Insolvency looms (balance sheet or cash-flow basis) This can lead to: Enforcement by the lender Appoint an LPA Receiver to take control of the stadium Initiate repossession or sale Trigger the administration of the club if insolvency looms Club enters administration (if unsustainable): 12-point deduction (EFL rule) Court-appointed administrator oversees asset sales or restructuring This is when we, the fans, often attempt to rescue or buy the club...ermm

I was trying to be as positive as possible. It was the best I could do…I didn’t believe it myself

You got anything intelligent or constructive to say, or are you on perpetual w-anchor mode?

This isn’t normal… We are a club with no money We have a chairman that doesn’t know anything We have a low-mid table squad We are likely to lose our manager We are probably going to lose the coaching staff We have very short term player contracts We have an academy that is sub-par This means that we have to: Put a squad together based on DR recommendations. Retain players that aren’t good enough. Offer lower contracts to cut wages. Offer contracts we shouldn’t. Retain players we shouldn’t. Attract a manager who can hustle. If DC doesn’t sell I predict a mixed season ahead.

And that’s exactly why Baz isn’t up to it anymore…screams at everyone to get out and they go under the ball for their goal. He’s telling everyone where to pass instead of finding space. He’s deep on Shay Charles’ feet and Charles is better than him. Just watch him properly off the ball.- 431 replies

The next SWFC manager is......

100% Rooney I say this because after supporting Wednesday for 50+ years, if I fell into a barrel of boobs, I’d come out sucking me thumb… -

Our squad aren’t footballers they’re just thick lower league lads. You have to concentrate for a full 90 mins twice a week and they just never switch on and think -

I’d rather give some of the U21s a run out than a crap League One side. If they’re not good enough at 21 close the academy -
What is now painfully obvious

There are some intelligent people on here who understand how the world works. Chansiri owns a business and he can do what he wants with it whenever he wants to. He, and only he, decides what he does with it. He decides whether he stays or goes. The only time, and there is only one, is if the club becomes insolvent. Only then do those circumstances change. Now I know that many think that the fans have a say and claim some ownership of its essence but we don’t. In law the fans own nothing. We are just customers. It’s a very badly run business that exists because of the fans goodwill. We remain loyal customers despite the clubs product being awful. The price is uncompetitive and too expensive. The customer relationship experience is some of the worst you’ll ever experience. And yet the business relies on you not caring about that and supporting it loyally regardless. The problem is twofold. A poor business model and abject management along with customers that like to suffer and self-harm every week. My mate went to Stoke yesterday as an OAP neutral. £6. -
Hamer would be on the bench if he were anywhere near what we’re looking for. The only problem for Röhl is funds. If he doesn’t get funds he operates with what he’s got

It was too awful to watch so I switched off after 20 mins. I’m not sure I have any motivation to watch again while Chansiri still there. Röhl not interested either in a sick club. Can’t find his strongest 11 and stick to it with a recognisable style and game plan. They all look lost and disinterested. Wednesday isn’t worth it anymore. First time I’ve felt this in 40+ years. -

Why not try leaving 3 players in an advanced position, as none of them can defend, to push them back? -
