Planned pitch invasion is a must. In what is a high profile volatile fixture against our biggest rivals, over policed and often over cautious. Would SAG allow the bottom tier to be sold? It would be a real shame if his away fan revenue was affected........ As well as him having to pay excess policing and rewarding costs.....imagine if match day staff also chose to boycott work that day too.

Catering lost opportunity cost
cazzaswfc replied to NorfolkParkOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Pretty sure we outsource the catering, hence it doesn't matter to us how many pies are sold. We still get X amount from the company we use over the course of the season. to completely contradict myself, of course If This were better run, more kiosks open - perhaps we could gain more revenue by charging more per season? Not sure if the staff serving food are also paid/employed by the catering co? -
Staff given advanced warning for Monday - Wages
cazzaswfc replied to mark77's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
So my guess is he's prioritising players under contract so they can't walk away. Expect players to be sold as he asset strips. Unfortunately Doris who cleans the offices wont bring in any value to fund next month's wages. just stinks all round as the non football staff will likely be the ones living month to month -
Go to Winchester??? No thanks, but too near Southampton if you ask me!!!

The that is what they did to Sheffield FC ladies!!!! the above is bad though, I know they are not alone with struggling to concerned women's team (some of the squad on minimum wage!) But in fairness to them they have always had pride in the community aspect and inclusivity. Even prior to having a women's team they still invested in a girls academy. -
Hear most ended up on West Street, fire pit etc. Danny in Bierkeller (seriously). And Patto dancing on the tables in there. Really hoping some got it on Video as most of the team were out and their partners and friends. Windass allegedly holding the tram up due to poor parking???

As soon as I saw her reply that she was banned, my first thoughts were how many people are going to think she is serious.

I thought they were starting to look at rules around this? This company were formed in The UK only to own and buy Brum. Least with others bet365, Ethied etc they are the owners other companies and trade seperatly. Chansiri should get his wallet out and sponsor the whole stadium and not just a stand! And Yes well the naming rights, did anyone really call St James Park anything??

Equality is having equal opportunities not equal pay as everyone assumes for different "jobs" If you really see women having more opportunities (in almost everything) then you are not listening! Apologies if forgotten wrong end of your comment.

Disagree, womens football attendances increased by 200% in the WSL and by 80% in the championship (despite challenges with grounds). Major sponsors are falling over themselves to sign endorsements with the top female players (even if this is partly driven by there inclusion policies) Grass routes for girls is growing massively. Hate to break it to you, but we aren't going away! I have no issue with anyone not liking the women's game, but as Ellis says above, only women's football gets the criticism and constant negatively that it does. Can't say I've ever heard anyone moan that they don't want to watch female sprinters because they are not as fast or strong as the men. It's as if equality is a scary thing!

About that............. Unlike Carlos who had a p!an for every letter of the alphabet

Issues within the Spanish squad have been going on for ages, think about 10 players were missing after their requests not to be selected from the national team due to many internal issues that were not been addressed that effected their safety and health and wellbeing -Instead of the matter been taken seriously, investigated or even listened to it was brushed aside and the players told they would not be considered in the future unless "they apologise" Spanish football seem to take Sexism and Misogyny as serious as they do Racism!

Never did Jose Mourinho any harm.

Is Millie Bright a Wednesdayite?
cazzaswfc replied to DevonOwls's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Missed our chance, should have done what the blunt did and franchised Sheffield fc ladies. Technically they didn't do that but close, Sheffield FC won promotion when the league two was been created and league expanded. Unfortunately Sheffield did not have the finances or resources. Blunts applied for the place (along with a few other teams - were few places vacant) and took over the majority of Sheffields squad and staff including then manager Carla Ward -

My first thought was he's borrowed Calvert Lewins wardrobe -
Agreed, was listening to Talk sport yesterday and they were having the debate about playing James or not, around how do you not start your best player - using would for leave Messi on the bench etc as an example Whilst James is a fantastic talent I wouldnt say she is our most important player - best prospect yes - and in another 4 years we may all be saying yes to her starting without question. What an option to have on the bench, have a feeling she may do us proud! Then again Toone knows what it feels like to score in a final!

The context of the police finding out his victim was having his baby and had rekindled their relationship and forgiven him? Safe to say they did! really why I think their statement is shocking and they are trying to play with the narrative of "thorough investigation and spoke to parties associated and the context" really trying to spin what was released on social media.
-
Poor. Of Utd to throw in the comment of partner and Baby. Like no-one knows his partner and Victim is the same person, the comments of how they have spoken to people close to the incident and have a different context. I'm sure his partner wants his career back on track, as she's clearly getting on with their relationship again. So her version will surely now match the narrative that Greenwood and Man U will want to hear/portray. one of the charges was "Controlling and Coercive behaviour". Hmmmmmmm. I don't know what's wrong or right, he's a young lad who may have seemed help, understood and learnt what's appropriate, competed counselling and CBT to change his thoughts and actions. Charges were dropped so he's free to get on with his life. unfortunately I know far to much about the statistics for victims of abuse and rape. It takes on average 7 attempts for a women to leave an abusive partner.
