  1. I never really understand why they didn’t make signing a CB an absolute priority. The chase of Guehi all seemed a bit rushed and in the end a bit of a panic. He should have been the number 1 target in the summer.
  2. Our biggest loss in the summer. Yes he maybe a touch arrogant, but he is a very good footballer at this level. Can never understand the hate he gets tbh.
  3. I know it’s inevitable and it’s obviously fantastic DC has gone so was always going to happen, but the novelty of being league one is so depressing. It’s a terrible division and proper grinding. I cba with another league one tour again. Let’s hope we can bounce back first time of asking in similar mould to Birmingham with ambitious owners.
  4. Always remember his winner at Brentford under Carlos. Great day that was - think we were down to 10 and scored in the last minute? Remarkable the difference between the two clubs now.
  5. I think the tickets are set so that they will always reach the 3rd window of sales and then have a chance of selling out in the 4th and beyond.
  6. Quality footballer and probably our biggest loss in the summer
  7. Mixed feelings with this. I thought United winning was almost a certainty, so much so they were my team in last man standing with some of the lads. Equally, it is quite funny seeing them loose today. He has a bit of a job on his hands by the looks of it old wilder.
  8. Id say so. But the EFL will do everything to keep us in the league so that it remains “fair” and competitive. Would Leicester or Bristol City be able to keep their 3 points if we can’t fulfill our fixtures against other teams? Massive can of worms for the EFL - so I think they will do what they can to keep the pressure on DC, but let us continue - whilst us fans suffer.
  9. They probably shouldn’t have allowed us to start it in the first place.
  10. This doesn’t seem far fetched at all. Call in the 7 million pound loan, knock it off the price for him buying the club - sounds like it fits the “Ashley model” of buying clubs in distress for as cheap as possible.
  11. Funnily enough, didn’t he own Coventry City’s ground too and not the club?
  12. He was an absolute menace in those seasons in league one. His goal record was outstanding. 75 games, 18 goals for a LB! Incredible. Yet the bookies never learnt!
  13. Couple stories with Reda Nicked my seat at Forest away one year - (perhaps Semedo day I think) and he asked me what song he should start as he was asked to get a chant going by the rest of our fans. Also caught the tube with him to Wembley. And those odds as first / last goal scorer are never to be forgotten! Scored a fair few for a left back. One of my favourite players from recent years. Loved the guy.
  14. Haha, what a crease these days were on OT.
  15. My first thought too! Ha.
  16. He isn’t going anywhere is he. What a truly ludicrous article.
  17. League over already in August.
  18. Nobody should be even remotely surprised that this has happened. He has previous form - imagine how difficult it must be to negotiate a sale of an entire football club. Ive given up and accepted that we will be a floundering league one / two club for the foreseeable. The club is dying and we’re on life support - I don’t know if it’s just easier to pull the cord and be done with it because it’s absolutely miserable and the future looks increasingly bleak. What a truly sad situation.
  19. Could see Danny Röhl end up there at some point. Martin is one of the most overrated managers going - so stubborn in his ways.
  20. Pound for pound our best ever signing?
  21. Just so sad to see what one man has done to this football club.
