  1. I think the tickets are set so that they will always reach the 3rd window of sales and then have a chance of selling out in the 4th and beyond.
  2. Quality footballer and probably our biggest loss in the summer
  3. Mixed feelings with this. I thought United winning was almost a certainty, so much so they were my team in last man standing with some of the lads. Equally, it is quite funny seeing them loose today. He has a bit of a job on his hands by the looks of it old wilder.
  4. Id say so. But the EFL will do everything to keep us in the league so that it remains “fair” and competitive. Would Leicester or Bristol City be able to keep their 3 points if we can’t fulfill our fixtures against other teams? Massive can of worms for the EFL - so I think they will do what they can to keep the pressure on DC, but let us continue - whilst us fans suffer.
  5. They probably shouldn’t have allowed us to start it in the first place.
  6. This doesn’t seem far fetched at all. Call in the 7 million pound loan, knock it off the price for him buying the club - sounds like it fits the “Ashley model” of buying clubs in distress for as cheap as possible.
  7. Funnily enough, didn’t he own Coventry City’s ground too and not the club?
  8. He was an absolute menace in those seasons in league one. His goal record was outstanding. 75 games, 18 goals for a LB! Incredible. Yet the bookies never learnt!
  9. Couple stories with Reda Nicked my seat at Forest away one year - (perhaps Semedo day I think) and he asked me what song he should start as he was asked to get a chant going by the rest of our fans. Also caught the tube with him to Wembley. And those odds as first / last goal scorer are never to be forgotten! Scored a fair few for a left back. One of my favourite players from recent years. Loved the guy.
  10. Haha, what a crease these days were on OT.
  11. My first thought too! Ha.
  12. He isn’t going anywhere is he. What a truly ludicrous article.
  13. League over already in August.
  14. Nobody should be even remotely surprised that this has happened. He has previous form - imagine how difficult it must be to negotiate a sale of an entire football club. Ive given up and accepted that we will be a floundering league one / two club for the foreseeable. The club is dying and we’re on life support - I don’t know if it’s just easier to pull the cord and be done with it because it’s absolutely miserable and the future looks increasingly bleak. What a truly sad situation.
  15. Could see Danny Röhl end up there at some point. Martin is one of the most overrated managers going - so stubborn in his ways.
  16. Pound for pound our best ever signing?
  17. Just so sad to see what one man has done to this football club.
  18. Proper player in there I reckon. Got all the hallmarks to be a good box to box midfielder I think.
  19. On skybet - you can freeze you bet if it’s winning. So I’m guessing this lad had a bit on Wednesday to win, you freeze it and it pays out (whatever the result at full time)
  20. Yet look to be so comfortable in Europe - so strange the contrast.
  21. Could not give a monkeys. An absolute car crash upcoming this season.
  22. From Rugby originally. No ties to Sheffield, let alone Yorkshire. I was 10(ish) years old and I met Kevin Pressman in the Algarve. I was young and impressionable, so I therefore decided that now the time had come to follow Wednesday. And 28 years later, here I am. Considering my dad was a Man City fan, I rue this family holiday every single flipping day at times.
  23. Be the final nail for me if he goes. Been quite empathetic about the whole situation recently, but seeing Bannan go without any kind of proper send off will just tip me over the edge. Wednesday legend and one of our very best.
