    Just remembered it was Liverpool playing CSKA Moscow in the European Super Cup in Monaco. A few days or so before their final we’d had a day trip to Monaco and I nodded to this bloke getting on to a super yacht in the harbour. Then realised it was Craig Johnson who was probably in town to watch the match. *cool story.

    I can. We we’re holidaying in Antibes. Searched high and low to find a bar with our match on, but was only showing Man U who were also playing that night.

    Ray Crawford, that’s a name from the past. Can remember him scoring for Colchester against Leeds in a giant killing FA Cup match.

    Hard to recall a best memory, but Drew Talbot rounding the keeper was a “There’s some people on the pitch they think it’s all over…..it is now” moment at the Millennium Stadium.
