Didn’t really need to be said today. It’s all about the next game. I myself have shouted for DM’s head but after some thought he’s probably done enough for another season. Let’s just see what tonight brings.

Winning today and maybe keeping derby out of the top 6 would probably make me so happy I would want DC to offer DM a 5 year contract.

But as fans, when talking football in years to come no one is gonna be saying ‘remember 22/23 season…the clean sheets’. Only promotion will be remembered.

If DM were to stay and we are once again in league 1 then he will have an even harder job. Once again, we might have to build a new team if we don’t offer contracts to players ending this summer. Going by January market, there’s not a lot of money. And being the 3rd season in league 1 would probably mean cutting our budget to suit. Would Darren Moore even want the job?

Can’t believe some of our clapping 3rd place just because we finished with 93+ points. If we don’t go up by playoffs will that same 3rd place be something to look back on?

Yay we finished 3rd on 93+ points and more yay we could go up by winning the Mickey Mouse money spinning playoffs. I’ve always thought the playoffs were a joke. Finish 6th and you could go up. The plays offs are a lucky dip and any team on their day can win. Remember only a few weeks ago we lost to forest green. I have no hope for the play offs.

I don’t think anyone of us wants playoffs. And going by the last 5 games, we really don’t want playoffs! but we still have time to put points on the table, I just don’t see how.

Our form at this moment is 3 points from 5 games. Yes Wednesday are top of the league and the unbeaten games put us there but it’s our form right now that will see us drop.
