  1. The vast majority of corporate customers paid for this season before last season ended. Most of the drinks are also included in the money already paid (each box and table gets a capped included tab and you only start paying when you exceed it). There are hardly any match by match sales so far this season. Therefore, this isn’t a silver bullet with regard to defunding Chansiri.
  2. Unless you think a takeover means they can go back in time and make it the transfer window again.
  3. It doesn’t really matter if it is now. Not a lot they can do until January - apart from sign free agents that nobody else wants.
  4. It is for people with an addictive personality. Occasionslly, you get opportunities where you simply know more about the situation than the bookies - you have an “edge”. The last few weeks where season bets on Wednesday are concerned - is one of those rare occasions. Its been like printing money for me.
  5. I got 2/1 on us getting relegated with them. They suspended my account within 24 hours and have banned me from cashing out - my bets still stand.
  6. There seems to be an incredible opportunity to make money out of our current misery. Sporting Index are currently quoting that we will get between 40.5 and 42.5 points this season. For those not familiar with how it works, if you think we will get more you ‘buy’ at 42.5. If you think we will get less you sell at 40.5. so if you sold Wednesday at 40.5 points for £20 per point and we got 29 points you would make a profit of:- 11.5 points x £20 = £230. (point deductions do not count) Personally, I think it’d be a huge achievement to get over 20 points with the current squad. I sold originally at 50 points and the quote keeps reducing every week. With the transfer deadline now passing, looks a good opportunity for people to cover the losses of not renewing at Early Bird Prices. In the unlikely event Elon Musk takes over for a January Spendageddon you can just close the bet for the profit at the time.
  7. It depends upon how we go into Administration. It is unlikely Chansiri will choose to put the club into Administration. A Creditors application is the most likely route with at some point in the future New Avenue Projects making it (or possibly HMRC if they get in arrears, but without blinding people with technicalities they’d probably go a different route).
  8. This is just typical of Wednesday under selling themselves. We are the oldest sports club in English football. Why we would ever have said anything different is beyond me.
  9. Why would they not agree to a deal? No doubt a long term contract on more money, get paid on time with a club that isn’t nailed on to get relegated with a record low points total. These aren’t professional with loads of money in the bank - they be mad to turn it down.
  10. Apparently Wissa - an average PL player that has had one good season is worth more than our entire club.
  11. I was prepared to go with you having an edgy, controversial opinion that you could just about make a case for - then this was a step to far and I realised you were just deliberately winding us up. Weren’t you?
  12. I loved it! They shouted it because they feared us and they knew Megson had their measure.
  13. Disagree History probably shows they were the only two managers since 2000 with an eye for a player. I maintain that if Megson had stayed and Mandaric had financially backed him like he did Dave Jones we’d have been in a far better position than we were by sacking him. I still maintain that the only bad spell Megson had was when he had neither Marshall or Antonio available. And that the difference that season wasn’t Dave Jones it was the signings of Antonio, Treacy & Ranger.
  14. Can people not go for 2 hours without spending a penny in the ground!!!
  15. Yes, as long as the debt is assignable in the T & C’s.
  16. Rather than throw teddies on the pitch - I think everybody that is boycotting the match should donate £5 to Sheffield Children’s Hospital so they can buy teddies. No money in chansiris pocket. Money to a good cause. The amount raised makes a clear statement. Plus fantastic PR that gets press attention and makes Chansiri look like a clown. Probably too late for this match though.
  17. A lot of them are total nonsense - a sham. But Sheffield 3 does own the ground. And at least on paper receives rent from the club.
  18. Not sure on the PG point but it doesn’t make much difference to the club either way, to enforce the PG they’d have to crystallise the debt against the club (call it in), but yes it’s secured against the ground. Imagine loan to young adult (the club), lender doesn’t like the risk, so Dad (Sheffield 3) agrees to secure his kids loan against his own house. Debt is against kid but if he can not pay, the lender will take action against the kid, then the Dad.
  19. Named guarantor on the loan? Chansiri?
  20. New Avenue Projects loan to the club cross guarantee with Sheffield 3 and secured against the ground.
